NFL Bets Blog – NFL Week 9

Week 9 (YTD 16-10-1)

Nice little two piece last week, bringing this seasons winning percentage to 59%. A lot of solid games on the slate this weekend with some divisional games as we near the half way point of the season.

Miami Dolphins @ Chicago Bears, Dolphins -4 (-110)

Miami has been putting the beat down on teams, their WR duo of Waddle and Hill has been too much for anyone to keep up with. Chicago had a solid showing against the Cowboys last Sunday, but they still gave up 49 points. They defended the passing game okay but were run all over by Tony Pollard. With a two headed beast to deal with on the deep ball I wouldn’t be surprised to see Miami bust open the run game against a defense that ranks 31st in the league on the ground. Miami is undefeated with Tua in the back field, -4 should be very doable for their explosive offense.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals, Seahawks (+105)

The Seahawks are playing way above expectations so far, with Geno leading this team to first in the NFC West. Kenneth Walker has been electric, along with the rest of their offense. They visit a Cardinals team with a pretty average defense, allowing 350+ yards a game on average. They met once in Seattle, with the Seahawks taking the win in an ugly 19-9 game. Since then Call of Duty has come out so I wouldn’t worry about Kyler having a turnaround game. With the way they’re rolling right now I expect the Seahawks to finish the season 2-0 against their divisional rival.

Minnesota Vikings @ Washington Commanders, Vikings -3 (-115)

TJ Hockenson made the move to Minny at the trade deadline, giving the Vikings an even more dangerous passing game. I may be giving him more credit than he deserves but he won me some DFS money a few weeks back, so he’s the GOAT in my eyes. I just don’t see the Commanders keeping up with this offense. I like some of the guys in Washington but they just aren’t Jefferson and Theilen. And Wentz is just as booty as we expected him to be. I don’t think the Vikings are as good as their 6-1 record may indicate but they should be able to cover here.
