I can’t believe the Steelers not only covered, but won. I can’t wait for them to embarrass themselves in prime time this Sunday. The big headlines this week are Dak is back and CMC is headed to the Bay. With CMC and that defense, the 49ers could be a real wagon of a team. Some interesting match ups this week, none really get me too excited so rather I went with a few props to get some action in.
Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys, Cowboys -6.5 (-110), Tony Pollard Over 35.5 Rushing Yards (-125)
Dak is back, he returns to face the worst defense in the league. Detroit can put points on the board but their defense has struggled to keep other teams off the board. Given how good the Cowboys defense has been I can see them giving Detroit a lot of trouble while the offense balls out. With a 6.5 point spread I expect the Cowboys to have decent lead into the fourth quarter, allowing Pollard and Zeke to pick up rushing yards as they wind down the clock. Detroit has given up around 130 yards on the ground per game through week 6. A rushing duo like Zeke and Pollard should have no issues running all over them and securing the spread.
New York Jets @ Denver Broncos, Jets +1 (-110)
Broncos country, lets hide. Russ is questionable to play due to a hamstring injury, given how good the Jets defense has been that could be trouble for a Denver offense that has struggled to score, even with the $245 million man playing. I like the Jets if he is playing, I love the jets if he isn’t. New York will be without Elijah Moore since he has requested a trade, but with how well they’ve spread the ball around that shouldn’t be a huge change. Since it’s in Denver the altitude is always a factor but as long as their are moms in the crowd Zach Wilson will find a way.
