NFL Bets Blog – NFL Week 6

The purpose of this blog is finding value bets from the Sunday afternoon NFL slate. The Blog is written on Friday so lines and odds are subject to change before kickoff.

YTD (7-7-1)

A nice week 5 helped us to bounce back to an even winning percentage, with a great win from the Cowboys to cap it off. The Season is now in full swing with a lot of contenders and pretenders showing their true colors. There has been some great games so far this year but if I have to watch one more Thursday night eye sore I may cancel my moms Prime subscription for her. There are some amazing match ups ahead of us this week, one in particular but we’ll get there later. These are some of my favorites for the upcoming slate

Buccaneers V. Steelers, Bucs -9.5 (-110)

This one pains me to write about, but the Steelers stink bad. The offense is as stale as can be, there are injuries everywhere, it’s just awful to watch honestly. The usual saving grace of this team, the defense has been abysmal this year. TJ Watt remains out, Cam Heyward will be inactive along with Minkah Fitzpatrick and their top 3 cornerbacks. It should be an absolute field day for Tom Brady and his receivers, we may even get an early glimpse at Playoff Lenny. I like pretty much all the yardage props for the Bucs, there won’t be anyone to stop them. The spread being 9.5 points shouldn’t really scare you here, Pittsburgh is train wreck, not a whole lot else to add.

San Francisco 49ers V. Atlanta Falcons, 49ers -4.5 (-110)

Atlanta has been surprising thus far in the season, their 2-3 record doesn’t give the whole story. They’re proving to be a tough team to play against. They host the 49ers this week who bring their superstar defense with them, and are my main reason for liking this spread. Like I said last week, almost 50% of drives end in 3-and-outs against the 49ers. Mariota has led a better than expected Atlanta offense but I don’t see them competing against a defense like this. With a defense this dominate Jimmy GQ shouldn’t have any issues carrying this team to cover.

Buffalo Bills V. Kansas City Chiefs, Bills -3 (+105)

This showdown should make up for the past two TNF games we’ve suffered through, and could be the game of the year. The two top teams in the AFC go at it in Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are dogs at home for the first time since anyone can remember, at least that I remember because I’m too lazy to look up the actual stat, but it comes with good reason. The Bills are finally healthy, especially their defense. Not many players come into this game with injury designations. This match up has two potent offenses who perform in spectacular fashion, it’s the defense that really sets the Bills apart from KC. The points total is hovering around 54, making for an incredible match up.
