Buffalo Bills @ Detroit Lions
For the first time in who knows how long, football fans can be excited to see the Lions play on Thanksgiving. It’s a shame the Lions have a solid team, but are still in for a whoomphing on Turkey Day.
The Bills and Lions are two of the top-scoring teams in the league, so while it’s hard to make a pick on a double-digit spread, the over is a great move.
Over 54.5 Points (-105)
There are plenty of great offensive props to jump on in a game that’s bound to be this high scoring. However, with the Lions having such a terrible pass defense, there is no reason to think Josh Allen won’t rake up yardage today.
Josh Allen Over 280.5 Passing Yards (-110)
Throwing that much though, he is bound to make a mistake as he has ten times this season.
Josh Allen Over 0.5 Interceptions (-114)
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
Another Thanksgiving classic.
Both the Giants and Cowboys are chasing the Eagles in the standings, making this a critical game.
There are several factors that make this a ten point line, but the most simple explanation is that the Cowboys went to New York and beat the Giants by 7 with Cooper Rush. So with Dak hosting the Giants, it makes sense to assume today’s margin of victory will be even greater.
However, I’m not convinced. While on paper the Giants are not very good, Brian Daboll continues to find ways to win. So while a win may not come for New York today, there is no doubt they will cover this spread.
New York +10 (-110)
Considering that Dallas has the best pass defense in the league, and Daniel Jones is no gunslinger. The Giants will once again be relying on Saquon Barkley. He’ll see plenty of touches today, making for another easy bet.
Saquon Barkley Over 17.5 Rushing Attempts (-114)
Barkley’s yardage is another solid play and those that like plus money may play an ALT line.
Saquon Barkley Over 74.5 Rushing Yards (-110) / Saquon Barkley 100+ Rushing Yards (+235)
