Ole Miss @ Memphis

Penny Hardaway and the Memphis Tigers host Ole Miss for just their third home game of the season. There is a bit of a local rivalry between these two schools, as Memphis may as well be in Mississippi.

Expectations are high in the Bluff City, as Coach Penny has brought in another strong class of recruits. Playing in the AAC, a conference title should come without question, but they have shown some weaknesses with losses to St. Louis and Seaton Hall.

Ole Miss is a formidable opponent, and they, too, have conference championships aspirations, as the SEC isn’t known for their talents on the hardwood.

The Rebels are coming to Memphis after a trip to Oklahoma, where they were severed their first loss of the season courtesy of the Sooners.

This game will prove what Ole Miss is made of, as Memphis is by far the toughest opponent they have faced this season.

Memphis wants to roll with the Blue Bloods, but in order to do so, they need to destroy teams like Ole Miss.

Memphis -7 (-110) & Over 133 (-110)

St. Mary’s @ Houston

The St. Mary’s Gaels playing the Houston Cougars are on neutral ground tonight.

Houston is number one in the country, but they are just a (-7.5) favorite playing the unranked Gaels.

St. Mary’s has always been a scrappy team, and they are always liable to force a huge upset. After opening the season with six wins, they have taken back-to-back losses. Both Ls came in close games, with one going to overtime, but they were against unranked opponents.

While the Gaels will offer Houston the toughest battle they have had all season, they should still demolish them. The Cougars are strong from deep, which is something St. Mary’s can’t compete with.

Houston -9.5 (-110) & Under 115.5 (-110)
