Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Friday’s 10-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

76’ERS (115.5) -9.5, 221.5 vs HAWKS (106)

The Philadelphia 76’ers (41-21) are still eyeing the top seed in the East as they play host to the Atlanta Hawks (34-29). The 76’ers are playing the Hawks for the second time in three days winning on Wednesday 127-83. Seth Curry led six players in double figures with 20 points. Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid each added 17. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Hawks were led by John Collins with 21 points who continue to play without star guard Trae Young.

The Boston Celtics (33-30) will welcome in the San Antonio Spurs (31-30) to TD Garden Arena. The Celtics broke a three-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 120-111 home win over the Charlotte Hornets. Jaylen Brown followed up his 39-point effort on Tuesday night with a 38 point effort on Wednesday, including 7-13 from 3-point range. Jayson Tatum also crushed with 35 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. They are 10-5 this month. The Spurs saw their three game winning streak snapped on Wednesday in Miami 116-111. Dejounte Murray had a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. DeMar DeRozan added 20 points and 8 assists.

The red hot Washington Wizards (28-34) will travel to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers (21-41) from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The Wizards are coming off a 116-107 win over the Lakers and have won 11 of their last 13 games. Bradley Beal led the way with a game-high 27 points and Russell Westbrook did his nightly thing and recorded another triple-double with 18 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists. The Cavaliers have really been struggling losing nine of their last 11 games. They are coming off a 109-104 loss at home to the Orlando Magic. Darius Garland had 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Jarrett Allen added 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Portland Trail Blazers (34-28) will travel to the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets (43-20) in one of the highest game totals of the year at 241. The Nets are coming off a 130-113 win in Indiana and have now won four games in a row. Kevin Durant had a game-high 42 points and 10 assists. Alize Johnson came off the bench to record 20 points and 21 rebounds. Portland is 2-0 on their current 6-game road trip winning in Indiana 136-122 and Memphis 130-109. The trio of CJ McCollum (26) , Normal Powell (24) and Damian Lillard (23) combined for 73 points in the win over the Grizzlies. This will be a popular game for DFS with the high total.

The Memphis Grizzlies (31-30) will look to rebound when they open up a two-game set against the Orlando Magic (19-43). The Grizzlies have lost two in a row after their 130-109 home loss to Portland on Wednesday. Jonas Valanciunas led the way with 19 points. Dillon Brooks added 18. They will play the Magic again on Saturday in Orlando. The Magic broke a six-game losing streak when they won in Cleveland 109-104. Gary Harris led the way with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Chuma Okeke and Cole Anthony each had 18. They are 3-12 this month.

The Milwaukee Bucks (38-24) continue to eye a top seed in the playoffs when they travel to the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls (26-36). The Bucks are currently the #3 seed in the East but are coming off a disappointing loss in Houston last night over the struggling Rockets 143-136. The bigger news was the injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo as he played just 46 seconds. He rolled his already injured right ankle on a drive to the basket and did not return. Khris Middleton had 33 points and 8 assists. Jrue Holiday added 29 points and 10 assists. Bryn Forbes came off the bench to post 30 points including 6-10 from 3-point range. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Bulls lost in New York to the Knicks on Wednesday 113-94. Nikola Vucevic had a team-high 26 points and 18 rebounds.

In a battle between the top two seeds in the West, the Utah Jazz (45-17) will travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns (44-18). The Jazz broke a two-game losing streak in a big way on Wednesday when they won in Sacramento 154-105. Bojan Bogdanovic led eight players in double figures with 24 points. Jordan Clarkson came off the bench to add 23 points on 8-14 shooting. Georges Niang added 19 points including 5-7 from 3-point range. The Suns are coming off a home win over the Clippers 109-101. Chris Paul had a game-high 28 points and 10 assists. Devin Booker added 21 points and 6 rebounds. These two teams played back on April 7th in Phoenix and the Suns came away with a 117-113 victory.

The Los Angeles Lakers (36-26) are looking to get back on track when they will welcome in the Sacramento Kings (35-37) to the Staples Center. The Lakers lost in Washington on Wednesday 116-107 and have now lost four of their last five games. Anthony Davis had a team-high 26 points. Andre Drummond added 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Kings, playing without starters De’ Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes, lost at home to the Utah Jazz 154-105. Richaun Holmes and Buddy Hield each had 18 points. They have lost 12 of their last 15 games.
