Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Monday’s eight game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

KINGS (119.5) -4, 225 @ CAVALIERS (115.5)

The Sacramento Kings (17-25) finish out a six-game road trip in Cleveland tonight when they take on the Cavaliers (16-26). The Cavs beat the Raptors last night 116-105 behind 36 points from Collin Sexton including 6-of-9 from 3-point range. The team finished 17 of 33 on the night. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Kings are coming off a 129-105 loss to Philadelphia. Buddy Hield led the way in the loss with 25 points. De’Aaron Fox leads the team in scoring at 23.7 ppg, but saw his streak of 11 games in a row of scoring at least 20 points end.

TIMBERWOLVES (114) -2, 226 vs THUNDER (112)

The Oklahoma City Thunder (18-24) travel to the Target Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves (10-32). The Thunder, playing without leading scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, defeated the Rockets 114-112 on Sunday behind 23 points from Luguentz Dort. If SGA sits again tonight that could open up a few value plays here. The Timberwolves split two games at Phoenix last week winning 123-119 but dropping the rematch a night later 113-101. Karl Anthony-Towns (41) and Anthony Edwards (42) combined for 83 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists in the 123-119 win over Phoenix. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games.

The San Antonio Spurs (22-17) welcome in the Charlotte Hornets (20-21) to the AT&T Center to open up a nine-game homestand. The Hornets are coming off a 125-98 thumping at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. LaMelo Ball, who was considered the front-runner for NBA Rookie of the Year, fractured his wrist and could miss the rest of the season. This should open up some additional minutes for guys like Miles Bridges, Cody Martin and others. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Spurs are coming off a 120-113 loss in Milwaukee that ended a five-game road trip. In the loss, the Spurs got a career-high 31 points from Lonnie Walker while DeMar DeRozan added 22 points and a season-high 13 assists. They are 5-5 in the their last 10 games.

The Utah Jazz (30-11) travel to Chicago to take on the Chicago Bulls (19-22). The Jazz are 2-2 on their current five-game road trip. They defeated the Raptors on Friday night 115-112 and have the league’s best record. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 31 points and 6 assists. Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 16 rebounds. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Bulls are looking to make it two in a row after they pulled away in their 100-86 win at Detroit last night. All-star Zach LaVine comes into this game 7th in the league in scoring at 28.3 ppg. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

RAPTORS (116.5) -8.5, 224.5 @ ROCKETS (108) 

The Houston Rockets (11-30) will look to break an agonizing 20-game losing skid when it welcomes in the Toronto Raptors (17-25) to the Toyota Center. The Rockets lost to the Thunder 114-112 last night and haven’t won a game since Feb 4th when they defeated Memphis. Christian Wood returned from injury on March 17th to give the team a much needed offensive boost. In this recent loss, the trio of Wood, John Wall and Victor Oladipo combined for 74 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists. The Raptors meanwhile have lost eight games in a row after their 116-105 loss in Cleveland. Fred VanVleet led the way with 23 points. The Raptors dropped to 11th in the Eastern Conference.

The Milwaukee Bucks (27-14) will go for their 12th win in 13 games when it hosts the Indiana Pacers (19-22). The Bucks have won a season-high six games and are coming off a 120-113 win over the Spurs. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 26 points and matched a career-high with 15 assists. He comes in fourth in the NBA in scoring at 29 ppg. He is listed as doubtful for tonight (knee) so monitor this important news throughout the day. The Pacers are coming off a two-game sweep in Miami over the weekend. When these two teams played back on Feb. 3rd Domantas Sabonis had 33 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in a 130-110 loss.

The Boston Celtics (21-21) travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies (19-20). The Celtics knocked down 23 3-pointers in a 112-96 win over Orlando on Sunday, snapping a three-game losing streak. Jaylen Brown exploded with 34 points on 10-18 from 3-point range. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Grizzlies will wrap up a four-game homestand and are coming off a 111-103 win over Golden State. Jonas Valanciunas had 19 points and 15 rebounds in the win. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The Atlanta Hawks (22-20) will put their eight-game winning streak on the line as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers (37-16) from the Staples Center. The Hawks defeated the Lakers there last night 99-94 behind 27 points and 16 rebounds from John Collins. Trae Young added 14 points and 11 assists. The Clippers are coming off a 125-98 blowout win over the Hornets. Paul George led a balanced scoring attack with 21 points and 10 assists. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games,
