Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Tuesday’s six-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

CELTICS (113) -10, 216 vs THUNDER (103)

The Boston Celtics (32-29) return home to start a four-game homestand when they play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-41). The Celtics are coming off back-to-back losses on the road to Brooklyn 109-104 and Charlotte 125-104. They had won seven of their previous eight games. In the loss to the Hornets, Kemba Walker led the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Jaylen Brown had 20 points and 8 rebounds and Jayson Tatum added 19 points and 11 rebounds. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Thunder are still winless this month (0-14) after their 121-90 blowout loss in Philadelphia. Ty Jerome came off the bench to score a team-high 22 points including 4-8 from 3-point range.

The struggling Portland Trail Blazers (32-28)  will try to get back on track when they travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers (29-31). Portland has lost five straight games and nine of their last 11 and have fallen to the #7 seed in the West. They are coming off a 120-113 loss at home to Memphis. CJ McCollum had a team-high 27 points. Damian Lillard had 23 points and 6 rebounds and Jusuf Nurkic added 16 points and 19 rebounds. The Pacers are coming off a 131-112 win in Orlando and have now won three games in a row. Malcolm Brogdon led the way with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Edmond Sumner had 21 points and and Justin Holiday added 20 points off the bench including 6-8 from 3-point range. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games.

The Milwaukee Bucks (37-23) continue on their four-game road trip as they travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets (30-30). The Bucks opened up their trip with a 111-104 loss in Atlanta on Sunday. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a team-high 31 points and 14 rebounds. Khris Middleton contributed with 23 points on 9-18 shooting and Jrue Holiday added 19 points and 11 assists. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Hornets have won two in a row after beating Boston at home 125-104. Devonte’ Graham led a balanced offensive attack with 24 points and 9 assists. PJ Washington had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Terry Rozier finished with 21 points and 11 assists.

The Brooklyn Nets (41-20) look to get healthy for the stretch run as they play the Toronto Raptors (26-35) from Tampa, Florida. The Nets are coming off a 128-119 win at home over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Kyrie Irving led the way with 34 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Kevin Durant returned to the lineup and came off the bench to add 33 points and 6 rebounds. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Raptors have been playing some very good basketball of late winning five of their last six games. They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-96 last night behind Pascal Siakam’s 25 points. OG Anunoby added 20 points. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games.

In a game between the two worst teams in the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves (17-44) will travel to Houston to take on the Rockets (15-46). Off the court, the Rockets announced yesterday that all-star guard John Wall would miss the rest of the regular season with a hamstring injury. On the court they have lost four games in a row and 14 of their last 16 games. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are coming off back-to-back wins over Utah who own the league’s best record at 44-16. They won in Utah 101-96 on Saturday and then at home 105-104 last night. They have now surprisingly beaten the Jazz tree times this year. D’Angelo Russell came off the bench to lead the way with 27 points and 12 assists.

The Golden State Warriors (31-30) will play host to the Dallas Mavericks (33-26) hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Warriors are currently tied for the #9 seed in the West with San Antonio and are coming off a 117-113 win over the Sacramento Kings. Steph Curry had a game-high 37 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 19 and Draymond Green just missed a triple-double with 8 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. The Mavericks had their three-game winning streak snapped in Sacramento last night 113-106. Luka Doncic led the way with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke each added 19.
