Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Monday’s nine-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

CAVALIERS (108) -2.5, 213.5 @ PISTONS (105.5)

The Detroit Pistons (17-40) will play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers (20-36) from Little Caesars Arena. The Pistons lost in Washington on Saturday 121-100 and have now lost four of their last five games. Rookie Isaiah Stewart came off the bench to lead the way with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Frank Jackson also contributed 19 off the bench. Leading scorer Jerami Grant was held to 14 points on 4-14 shooting. The Cavaliers are also coming off a loss in Chicago 106-96. Darius Garland had 22 points and 12 assists. Collin Sexton also had 22 and Kevin Love finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Philadelphia 76’ers (39-17) will look to cool down Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors (28-29) tonight. Curry is coming off a 47-point performance when he connected on 11 3-pointers in a losing effort in Boston 119-114. Curry turned his ankle near the end of that game and is listed as questionable for tonight. The Warriors have won four of their last five games. The 76’ers are coming off a 106-103 win at home against the Clippers. Joel Embiid had a big night leading the way with 36 points on 10-20 shooting and added 14 rebounds. Ben Simmons had 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. They are 7-2 in the month of April.

The Boston Celtics (31-26) look to stay red hot when they welcome in the Chicago Bulls (23-33) to TD Garden Arena. The Celtics have won six games in a row and have been the hottest team in the NBA in April winning eight of their nine games. They are coming off a 119-114 win at home against Golden State behind Jayson Tatum’s 44 points on 16-25 shooting and 10 rebounds. Kemba Walker finished with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Marcus Smart added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The Bulls beat the Cavaliers on Saturday 106-96 to snap a five-game losing streak. Nikola Vucevic led the way with 25 points and 7 rebounds. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

The San Antonio Spurs (27-28) are hoping to build off their blowout win in Phoenix when they travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers (26-30). The Spurs playing without DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and reserve Patty Mills, went into Phoenix on Saturday and played one of their best games of the year. Rudy Gay led six players in double-figures with 19 points off the bench. Devin Vassell had 18 and Drew Eubanks added 13 points and 13 rebounds. The Pacers are coming off a 129-117 loss in Atlanta. Malcom Brogdon led the way with 29 points and 8 assists. Domantas Sabonis had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Myles Turner returned to the lineup after missing the previous six games and added 9 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The Miami Heat (29-28) will welcome in the Houston Rockets (15-42) to American Airlines Arena. The Heat snapped a three-game losing streak when they beat Brooklyn on Sunday 109-107. Bam Adebayo led the way in the win with 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Goran Dragic came off the bench to add 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Jimmy Butler did not play and is listed as questionable for tonight. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Rockets broke a five-game losing streak when they won in Orlando on Sunday 114-110. Christian Wood had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Kelly Olynyk had 24 points and 7 rebounds and Kevin Porter Jr. added 22 points and 7 assists. John Wall did not play.

In a matchup between two of the NBA’s best teams the Milwaukee Bucks (35-21) will play host to the Phoenix Suns (40-16). The Suns are coming off a disappointing 111-85 loss at home to the Spurs. They had won 11 of their previous 12 games. This will be the first game of a five-game road trip. The Bucks saw their three-game winning streak snapped with a home loss to Memphis on Saturday 128-115. Giannis Antetokounmpo, in his second game back from injury, led the way with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Bryn Forbes had 19 points and 6 rebounds and Khris Middleton added 16 points and 10 assists. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games.

The Washington Wizards (23-33) look to stay hot when they welcome in the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-37) to the Capital One Center. The Wizards have won four games in a row and six of their last seven. They are coming off a 121-100 home win against  the Pistons. Bradley Beal led the way with 37 points. Russell Westbrook his nightly thing and added another triple-double with 15 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. Meanwhile the Thunder come into this game really struggling as they have yet to win a game this month (0-10). They are coming off a 112-106 loss against Toronto on Sunday. Luguentz Dort led the way with 29 points. Darius Bazley added 16 points and 8 rebounds.

The Memphis Grizzlies (29-26) will look to stay hot on the road when they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets (36-20). The Grizzlies are 2-0 on their current seven-game road trip and are coming off an impressive 128-115 win in Milwaukee on Saturday. Grayson Allen led the way with 26 points including 7-10 from 3-point range. Dillon Brooks had 21 and Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points and 8 rebounds. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Nuggets are coming off a 128-99 blowout win in Houston behind Nikola Jokic’s 29 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists. Michael Porter Jr. added 21 points. They have won 10 of their last 12 games.

The Utah Jazz (42-15) will look for payback when they stay in Los Angeles to take on the Lakers (35-22) again tonight. These two teams played on Saturday at Staples and the Lakers won in overtime 127-115 behind 27 points and 8 rebounds from Andre Drummond. Dennis Schroder and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each added 25 points. The Jazz were without Donovan Mitchell, who will be out the next several games, Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley and Derrick Favors who sat out due to rest. Utah was led by Jordan Clarkson with 27 points but only shot 11-27 from the field. Joe Ingles added 20 points and 14 assists.
