Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Friday’s 10-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

PISTONS (109) -2.5, 215.5 vs THUNDER (106.5)

In a matchup between two of the league’s worst teams the Detroit Pistons (16-39) will welcome in the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-35) to Little Caesars Arena. The Pistons come in with the worst record in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a 100-98 loss at home to the Clippers. They led by 11 with less than five minutes to go but got outscored 18-5 to end the game. They have now lost three in a row and four of their last five. Jerami Grant had a team-high 28 points. The Thunder are coming off an embarrassing 147-109 home loss to the Warriors and have now lost eight straight games. Darius Bazley led the way with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Moses Brown added 18 points and 12 rebounds. With so many players ruled out for both teams tonight this will open up some value.

The Los Angeles Clippers (39-18) will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76’ers (38-17). The Clippers, playing without both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, won in Detroit on Wednesday 100-98 to extend their winning streak to seven games. Reggie Jackson led the way with 28 points. Ivica Zubac had 18 points and 13 rebounds. Luke Kennard added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Philadelphia has won three in a row and six of their last eight after beating Brooklyn on Wednesday 123-117. Joel Embiid led the way with a game-high 39 points and 13 rebounds. Tobias Harris added 26 points on 11-17 shooting. Ben Simmons contributed 17 points and 9 assists.

The Washington Wizards (21-33) will look to stay hot when they host the New Orleans Pelicans (25-30). The Wizards have won four of their last five games and are coming off a 123-111 win in Sacramento on Wednesday. Bradley Beal led the way with 31 points. Russell Westbrook’s triple-double streak is now at six straight games as he added 25 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. It was his ninth triple-double in his last 10 games. The Pelicans had their three-game winning streak snapped when they lost at home to the Knicks on Wednesday 116-106. In the loss, Brandon Ingram had 28 points and 7 assists. Zion Williamson added 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The Nets played without James Harden, Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin when it lost in Philadelphia 123-117. Kyrie Irving had a team-high 37 points on 13-22 shooting and 9 assists. DeAndre Jordan added 12 points and 14 rebounds. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Hornets saw their losing streak reach three games when they lost at home to Cleveland 103-90. Terry Rozier had 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assist leading the way. Miles Bridges added 20 points and 7 rebounds. The Hornets continue to play without PJ Washington, Gordon Hayward, Malik Monk and LaMelo Ball. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

The Toronto Raptors (22-34) will take on the Orlando Magic (18-37) from Tampa, Florida. The Raptors are hoping to get back Fred VanVleet to the lineup who has missed the last seven games. The last time these two teams played he went off for a franchise-record 54 points, including 11 3-pointers in a 123-108 win back on February 2nd. The Magic snapped a six-game losing streak when they won on the road in Chicago on Wednesday 115-106. James Ennis led the way with 22 points. Wendell Carter Jr. added 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Raptors have already ruled out Siakam, Lowry and Anunoby for tonight.

The Grizzlies are coming off a tough 114-113 home loss to the Mavericks and have now lost three of their last four. Grayson Allen had a team-high 23 points. The Denver Nuggets (35-20) will look to make it two wins in a row, post Jamal Murray injury, as they visit the Houston Rockets (14-41) from the Toyota Center. In their first game playing without their star guard, the Nuggets beat the Miami Heat 123-106. Michael Porter Jr. led the way with 25 points on 10-14 shooting and added 10 rebounds. Nikola Jokic had a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. They are 8-2 in their last 10 games. The Rockets are coming off a 132-124 home loss to the Pacers and have now lost four games in a row and nine of their last 10. John Wall had a game-high 31 points and 9 assists. Kelly Olynyk had 25 points and 10 rebounds and Christian Wood added 25 points and 13 rebounds.
