Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Monday’s nine game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

76’ERS (114) -3, 225 @ MAVERICKS (111)

The Dallas Mavericks (29-23) will welcome in the Philadelphia 76’ers (36-17) to the American Airlines Arena. The Mavericks are coming off a home loss to the Spurs last night 119-117. Kristaps Porzingis led the way in the loss with 31 points and 15 rebounds. Luka Doncic added 29 points and 7 assists. They have lost two of their last three games but have won six of their last 10 overall. Philadelphia comes in off a 117-93 win in Oklahoma City behind 27 points and 9 rebounds from Joel Embiid. Furkan Korkmaz got the start in place of the injured Tobias Harris and added 20 points and 5 steals. They are 6-4 in their last 10 games.

KNICKS (104.5) -3, 206 vs LAKERS (101.5)

The New York Knicks (27-27) will look to make it three wins in a row when it host the Los Angeles Lakers (33-20) at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks beat the Raptors 102-96 last night behind 26 points and 8 rebounds from Julius Randle. RJ Barrett added 19. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Lakers are coming off an impressive 126-101 blowout win in Brooklyn on Saturday night. Andre Drummond led the way with 20 points and 11 rebounds in only 22 minutes. Dennis Schroder had 10 points and Talen Horton-Tucker added 14 points and 11 assists. The Lakers continue to play without Lebron James and Anthony Davis. Kyle Kuzma also sat out this game with a left calf strain and is listed as questionable for tonight. This game has one of the lowest game totals of the year at only 206.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (14-40) will look to make it two in a row when they play host to the Brooklyn Nets (36-17). The Timberwolves got a much needed home win last night over the Bulls 121-117 behind Karl Anthony-Town’s 27 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. D’Angelo Russell came off the bench to add 27 points in only 25 minutes of action. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games. The Nets played without James Harden in a home blowout loss to the Lakers 126-101 on Saturday. Kevin Durant led the way with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Both Harden and Kyrie Irving will sit out tonight’s game. The Nets are 7-3 in their last 10 games.

The San Antonio Spurs (25-26) will travel to Orlando to take on the Magic (17-36) at the Amway Center. The Spurs broke a five-game losing streak when they won in Dallas last night 119-117. DeMar DeRozan hit the game winner with 0.5 seconds left and finished with a game-high 33 points on 13-25 shooting and 8 assists. Dejounte Murray added 28 points. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games. The Magic are coming off a home loss to the Bucks 124-87 and have now lost five games in a row. Mo Bamba came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 21 points and 5 rebounds in only 20 minutes of action. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games.

They had won five in a row before this current losing streak. De’Aaron Fox led the way in the loss to the Jazz with 30 points and 8 assists. Richaun Holmes added 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Pelicans have won two in a row after their 116-109 win in Cleveland last night. Zion Williamson led the way with 38 points on 16-22 shooting and added 9 rebounds. The Utah Jazz (40-13) will be shooting for their 25th straight home win when they host to the Washington Wizards (19-33). The Wizards beat the Jazz 131-122 in Washington back on March 18th behind 43 points from NBA scoring leader Bradley Beal and a triple-double by Russell Westbrook (35/15/13). Donovan Mitchell scored 42 in the loss last month. The Jazz come into this game with the league’s best record and current #1 seed in the Western Conference. The Wizards are coming off a 134-106 loss in Phoenix and have now lost six of their last 10 games. Bradley Beal sat out the loss to the Suns and is listed as probable tonight.

Nikola Jokic added another triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. The Warriors are coming off a 125-109 home win against the Rockets. Steph Curry had a game-high 38 points and 8 assists. Andrew Wiggins added 25 points. Jordan Poole had 21 points off the bench in only 25 minutes. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games.

The Phoenix Suns (37-15) will look to stay red hot when they play host to the Houston Rockets (14-39). The Suns are coming off a 134-106 win over the Wizards on Saturday. They were led by leading scorer Devin Booker with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Deandre Ayton had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Chris Paul added 13 points and 10 assists. They are 8-2 in their last 10 games. The Rockets are coming off 1 125-109 blowout loss in Golden State. They have now lost seven of their last eight games. John Wall led the way with 30 points and 7 assists. Kelly Olynyk who continues to play well since being traded added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
