The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

The Indiana Pacers (22-27) will welcome in the Minnesota Timberwolves (13-38) to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers are coming off a home loss to Chicago last night 113-97. They played without their two leading scorers in Malcolm Brogdon (21.2 ppg) and Domantas Sabonis (19.9 ppg) and then saw NBA shot-blocking leader Myles Turner go down with a sprained ankle in the third quarter Caris LaVert led the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Jeremy Lamb came off the bench to add 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals in 23 minutes. The Timberwolves are coming off an impressive home win over Sacramento 116-106 behind D’Angelo Russell’s 25 points. It was the first game he has played in nearly two months. Karl Anthony-Towns added 23 points and 15 rebounds.

The Orlando Magic (17-33) will look to break a two-game losing streak when it hosts the Washington Wizards (17-32). The Magic lost in Denver 119-109 on Sunday. Chuma Okeke and Terrence Ross led six players in double figures with 19 points each. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games. The Wizards have lost four games in a row after losing 103-101 in Toronto on Monday. Russell Westbrook recorded his nightly triple-double with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. They hope to have Bradley Beal, the NBA’s leading scoring at 31.3 points per game, back in the starting lineup.

In a battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference the Utah Jazz (38-12) will travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns (35-14). The Jazz saw their nine-game winning streak snapped in Dallas on Monday 113-101. They struggled from 3-point range making just 12 of 44 attempts in the loss. They had come in as the #1 3-point shooting team in the league. Mike Conley led the way with 28 points and 7 assists. Rudy Gobert posted 14 points and 15 rebounds. The Suns have won six games in a row and nine of their last 10. They escaped in Houston with a 133-130 win behind Devin Booker’s game-high 36 points. Deandre Ayton had 27 points and 11 rebounds and Chris Paul added 19 points and 11 assists. There two teams played back on New Year’s Eve in Salt Lake City and the Suns came away with the win 106-95 which was the last time the Jazz have lost a home game.
