Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Thursday’s seven game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

76’ERS (111) -9, 213 @ CAVALIERS (102)

The Philadelphia 76’ers (32-16) will look to break a two game skid when it travels to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers (17-30). The 76’ers lost in Denver last night 104-95 and have lost two in a row after winning 10 of their previous 11 games. They fell to 6-3 without star center Joel Embiid, who has been sidelined with a bone bruise in his left knee. The Cavaliers will look to snap a three-game losing streak after they lost in Utah on Monday 114-75. Leading scorer Collin Sexton led the way with 20 points. Darius Garland added 18. Newly acquired Isaiah Hartenstein started and had a team highs with 14 rebounds and 7 assists.

The Washington Wizards (17-29) will travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons (13-33) at Little Caesars Arena. The Wizards lost to Charlotte on Tuesday despite the 3rd straight triple-double by Russell Westbrook. He finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists. Leading scorer Bradley Beal (31.3 ppg) has missed the last 2 games with a right hip contusion. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games and finished the month of March with a 4-10 record. The Pistons are coming off a 124-101 home loss to Portland. Jerami Grant led the way with 30 points. They have lost five of their last six games.

The Brooklyn Nets (32-15) will look to stay red hot when it host the Charlotte Hornets (24-22). The Nets overcame an 11-point halftime deficit last night against the Rockets and went on to win 120-108. Kyrie Irving led the way with 31 points and 12 assists. Joe Harris added 28 points and 6 rebounds. James Harden finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds but left in the second half with hamstring tightness and did not return. Monitor his status throughout the day. The Nets finished March with an 11-2 record. The Hornets come in fresh off a 114-104 road win at Washington. Terry Rozier led the way with 27 points and 7 assists. Gordon Hayward finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Cody Zeller came off the bench to record 16 points and 13 rebounds. They have won four of their last five games.

The New Orleans Pelicans (21-25) are looking to make it five wins in their last six games when they welcome in the Orlando Magic (16-31) to the Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans are coming off an impressive 115-109 win in Boston. Zion Williamson had 28 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Brandon Ingram had 25 points and 9 assists. Josh Hart gave them an added boost off the bench with 15 points and 15 rebounds in 31 minutes. The Magic are coming off arguably their best win of the season, a 103-96 win against the Clippers at the Staples Center. Chuma Okeke led the way with 18 points but it was the Magic bench that proved to be the difference. They got 56 points from their bench led by Terrence Ross (15) and Otto Porter Jr (13). They are 3-7 in their last 10 games.

The Miami Heat (23-24) will look to make it three wins in a row when they host the Golden State Warriors (23-24). The Heat won in Indiana last night 92-87 behind 20 points and 8 rebounds from Duncan Robinson. Jimmy Butler had 18 points and Bam Adebayo added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The Warriors broke a four-game losing streak when they beat the Bulls 116-102 on Monday. Steph Curry returned to the lineup and led the way with 32 points and 6 assists. Andrew Wiggins had 21 points and Kelly Oubre Jr added 18 points and 11 rebounds. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

The San Antonio Spurs (23-21) will play host to the Atlanta Hawks (23-24) at the AT&T Center. The Spurs split two games with the Kings the last few days losing 132-115 on Monday but rebounding to take the second game 120-106. They are now 2-4 on their current nine-game homestand. DeMar DeRozan led the way with 26 points and 7 assists. Jakob Poeltl recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. The Hawks meanwhile have been one of the streakiest teams in the NBA the last month. They started off March with eight straight wins but have now dropped four of their last five games, the most recent a 117-110 loss in Phoenix. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the way with 22 points. Trae Young had 19 points and 13 assists. Clint Capela finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers (32-17) will look to rebound after a disappointing loss to the Magic when they welcome in the Denver Nuggets (29-18) to the Staples Center. The Clippers blew a double-digit lead in a 103-96 loss to the Magic on Tuesday. The loss broke a six game winning streak. Paul George sat out his second straight game with foot soreness. Kawhi Leonard had 28 points. Ivica Zubac added 14 points and 13 rebounds. The Nuggets have won three games in a row after their 104-95 win over Philadelphia. Jamal Murray had 30 points in the win. Michael Porter Jr added 27 points and 12 rebounds. Nikola Jokic had 21 points and 10 rebounds. These two teams played back on Christmas day and the Clippers won 121-108 in Denver.
