NBA DFS DAILY BREAKDOWN 3/30/2022 | RUN PURE SPORTS

Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Wednesday’s 11-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.

NUGGETS (121) -9.5, 232.5 vs PACERS (111.5)

The Nuggets (45-31) travel to Indiana to face the Pacers (25-51). Denver is 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Pacers are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Nuggets are currently 2 games up on the Wolves in the 6 seed and are looking to continue winning to avoid the play in tournament. The Pacers are in full tank mode and arent looking to win at all. NIkola Jokic has the highest projection on the slate by 7 points. He is in an incredible spot here versus these pacers. Can the Pacers keep it close enough for him to pay off his tag?? I typically dont play any other Nuggets and tonight is no different. On the Pacer side, we need some news to narrow down our pool for them. Guards typically smash this Denver team and Buddy Hield would be my favorite piece. Everyone else seems to be priced appropriately here. If Goga and Jackson miss that brings Jalen Smith and Terry Taylor into play.

Denver – Cancar – OUT, Nnaji – OUT, Porter – OUT, Murray – OUT, Ja Green – QUES

Indiana – Jackson – QUES, Duarte – OUT, Brogdon – QUES, Goga – QUES, Washington – QUES

DFS Targets

NIkola Jokic, Buddy Hield

MAGIC (108.25) +3, 219.5 vs WIZARDS (111.25)

The Magic (20-56) head to Washington to take on the Wizards (32-43). Orlando is 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Wizards are 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread. Orlando is vying for the worst record in the league and the Wizards will be in the lottery as well. This Magic team is a team I tend to stay away from unless people are out and Suggs and WCJ are out for tonights game. Mo Bamba would be my favorite piece here as we have been attacking the Washington frontcourt all year. Mo Wagner makes for an interesting value option. For the Wiz, the only 2 that I have interest on are Deni Avdija and Tomas Satoransky. I will be staying away from the Unicorn on tonights slate.

Injury News

Orlando – Suggs – OUT, Carter Jr. – OUT

Washington – Kuzma – OUT, Carey – QUES

DFS Targets

Mo Bamba, Mo Wagner, Deni Avdija, Tomas Satoransky

MAVERICKS (108.75) -3.5, 214 vs CAVS (105.25)

Dallas (47-29) heads to Cleveland take on the Cavs (42-33). The Mavs are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Cavs are 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread. Dallas is 1 game behind the Warriors for the 3 seed in the west and the Cavs are looking to get out of the play in tournament and are 1 game behind the Raptors. This game has the lowest total on the slate. Cleveland has given up the 2nd FEWEST FP to the PG position over the last 7 games. Not sure I’ll be on Luka tonight even after going for 75 DK points in 29 minutes last night. To be honest, I’m not thrilled with any Mavs player in this spot. For the Cavs, Allen and Mbley are both OUT for this game. I would expect Kevin Love to get the start at Center. I’m seeing some early ownership on him in this spot at an elevated 6900 price tag. Caris Levert will also get some ownership here. Darius Garland is simply too expensive for me to consider. I will be underweight here.

Injury News

Dallas – Brown – QUES, Burke – OUT, Hardaway – OUT, Pinson – OUT

Cleveland – Rondo – DOUB, Mobley – OUT, Allen – OUT

DFS Targets

Kevin Love, Caris Levert

HORNETS (113) -2, 225 vs KNICKS (111)

The Hornets (39-37) travel to NY to face the Knicks (34-42). Charlotte is 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Knicks are 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread.  The Hornets are in the 9 seed and firmly entrenched into the play in tournament and the Knicks appear to be eliminated. I dont have any interest in this game for DFS as the prices are all up for both teams and both teams are basaically fully healthy.

Injury News

Charlotte – Hayward – OUT

New York – Grimes – OUT

DFS Targets

FADE GAME

WOLVES (113.25) +3, 229.5 vs RAPTORS (116.25)

The Wolves (43-33) travel to Toronto to face the Raptors (43-32). Minnesota is 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Raptors are 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Wolves are currently 2 games behind the Nuggets in order to get out of the play in tournament in the West and the Raptors are 1 game up on the Cavs to stay out of the play in tournament. This is another game that I’m not thrilled to roster any players tonight. Both teams play great defense and this game should have a playoff type atmosphere. Both teams are basically fully healthy and priced appropriately.

Injury News

Minnesota – Wright – OUT, Beasley – OUT, McDaniels – OUT

Toronto – Flynn – OUT, Birch – QUES

DFS Targets

FADE GAME

HEAT (105.25) +4.5, 215 vs CELTICS (109.75)

The Heat (48-28) travel to Boston to face the Celtics (47-29). Miami is 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Celtics are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. This is a matchup of potential 1 seeds in the East. Boston is 1 game back of the Heat. This is another game that I’m not really thrilled in DFS on this massive slate. Miami is basically fully heathy and priced appropriately. Bam would be my favorite guy if I had to pick someone, but I’m not thrilled at all. On the Boston side, its Al Horford with Timelord OUT and Jaylen Brown at his cheaper 8100 pricetag.

Injury News

Miami – Martin – QUES, Vincent – QUES, Robinson – QUES

Boston – Tatum – PROB, Brown – PROB

DFS Targets

Bam Adebayo, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown

KINGS (117) -2.5, 231.5 vs ROCKETS (114.5)

The Kings (27-49) travel to Houston to face the Rockets (20-56). Sacramento is 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Rockets are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. This game has the third highest total on the slate and a close 2.5 point spread. This is an incredible matchup for both sides as both teams dont play defense and both teams play very fast. We could get Davion Mitchell at less than 10% tonight in the NUT matchup. His price is up to 7600 but he has been incredible and is averaging 43 DK points over his last 4 games. I could def see a 50 piece in this game tonight. Damian Jones is my other primary interest as the Rockets have given up the most FP to the C position over the last 7 games. Trey Lyles also gets an incredible matchup here as Houston has given up the most FP to the PF position over the last 7 games. Donte Divencenzo is also in play for me at only 5300. On the Houston side, Jalen Green is my favorite piece as the Kings have given up the 4th most FP to the SG position over the last 7 games. We need the Sengun news here for Houston. KPJ and Josh Christopher are def in play for me.

Injury News

Sacramento – Fox – OUT, Sabonis  – OUT, Jackson – QUES, Lamb – QUES, Len – QUES

Houston – Sengun – QUES

DFS Targets

Davion Mitchell, Damian Jones, Trey Lyles, Donte Divencenzo, Jalen Green, KPJ, Sengun, Josh Christopher

HAWKS (121) -12.5, 229.5 vs THUNDER (108.5)

The Hawks (38-37) travel to OKC to face the Thunder (22-53). Atlanta is 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Thunder are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. An incredible mathcup for the Hawks here, but can OKC keep it close? Trae Young is an obvious target in this game. Love Clint Capela in this matchup as well. Others would depend on the Hunter and Gallinari news. The Thunder got huge price bumps from the chalky game the other night. Theo Maledon and Tre Mann are my favorties here followed by Isaiah Roby.

Injury News

Atlanta – Gallinari – QUES, Mays – OUT, Hunter – QUES, Collins – OUT, Johnson – QUES

OKC – SGA – OUT, Giddey – OUT, Mann – QUES

DFS Targets

Trae Young, Clint Capela, Theo Maledon, Tre Mann, Isaiah Roby

GRIZZLIES (119.5) -5.5, 233.5 vs SPURS (114)

The Grizzlies (53-23) travel to San Antonio to face the Spurs (31-44). Memphis is 1-4 in their last 5 games against the spread while the  Spurs are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. Memphis continues to be incredible, even without their star Ja Morant. They basically have the 2 seed in the west locked up while the Spurs are tied with the Lakers for the last spot in the play in tournament. JJJ is huge news here for DFS purposes. If he misses, that raises the celining on Tillman. No one from Memphis is really standing out to me so far this morning. On the SPurs side, I dont think I will be chasing the Dejounte SMASH game from the other night. This Memphis team has been playing incredible defense.

Injury News

Memphis – Tillie – OUT, Morant – OUT, Jackson Jr – QUES

San Antonio – Walker – PROB, Langford – OUT

DFS Targets

TBD

PELICANS (120.5) -13.5, 228 vs BLAZERS (107)

The Pelicans (32-43) travel to Portland to face the Blazers (27-48). New Orleans is 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Blazers are 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread. This is a game I have alot of interest in tonight. Amazing spot for this Pelicans team. Brandon Ingram is incredibly underpriced on DK at only 7300. This is also a REVENGE game for CJ McCollum. They are my favorite 2 pieces from the NO side. The prices on the Blazers raised significantly since that last game. I cant pay the prices on Eubanks or Brandon Williams. I would side with the cheaper Ben Mclemore, Greg Brown and Keon Johnson.

Injury News

New Orleans – Joval – QUES, Zion – OUT, Nance – PROB

Portland – Hart – OUT, Watford – OUT, Winslow – OUT, Brown – PROB

DFS Targets

Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Ben Mclemore, Greg Brown, Keon Johnson

SUNS (114.5) -5.5, 224 vs WARRIORS (109.5)

The Suns (61-14) travel to Golden State to face the Warriros (48-28). Phoenix is 1-3-1 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Warriors are 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Suns have the best record in the league locked up already and the Warriors are fighting to not slip to the 4 seed in the west.  CP3 has gone OFF the first 2 games back from injury and it doesnt appear the coach is limiting their guys yet. He is still underpriced for his current production. Devin Booker is always a gpp option and is playing at MVP like levels right now. I will continue to fade the Warrriors in DFS as I think the majoritry of them are overpriced.

Injury News

Phoenix – Johnson – DOUB, Kaminsky – OUT, McGee – OUT

Golden State – Curry – OUT

DFS Targets

CP3, Devin Booker
