Welcome everyone to your Run Pure Sports – NBA DFS Daily Breakdown. Today we will be previewing Tuesday’s 4-game slate in the NBA. The idea of this article will be to give you a quick glance at the games each day and provide the overnight point spreads, game and team totals along with overnight injury news and potential DFS targets.
NETS (120.5) -9.5, 231.5 vs MAGIC (111.0)
The BKN Nets (35-33) travel to Orlando to face the Magic (18-51). The Nets are 5-0 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Magic are 3-2 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Nets are 4 games down from the Cavs in order to get out of the play in tournament. Since this game is in Orlando, Kyrie Irving will be able to play alongside KD here. I expect the Nets to pick up the W in this one. Both Kyrie and KD are in play for me in this one. Drummond continues to play less than 27 minutes and this is a very tough matchup for him. I would prefer to go to a Claxton for value. On the Orlando side, Cole anthony is very cheap at 6300 but would become a building block play if Suggs were to sit. Like him regardless here though.Wendell Carter Jr. has simply been fantastic and at 7400 I like him a ton here. Markelle Fultz is only playing around 19 minutes but is coming off b2b 30 DK point performances and is fine at his cheap 4200 pricetag.

GRIZZLIES (120) -7.5, 232 vs PACERS (232.5)
The Memphis Grizzlies (47-22) head to Indiana to face the Pacers (23-46). The Grizzlies are 1-4 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Pacers are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Grizzlies are tied for the 2nd seed in the west with the GS Warriors and 7.5 back of the Suns for the 1 seed. It looks as if the Grizzlies will be without SUPERSTAR Ja Morant due to back soreness. That vaults Tyus Jones into the starting lineup and is a lock for tonights slate at only 3400. Jaren Jackson sees a massive 5% usage increase and a .12 FPPM increase bringing his total usage and FPPM to 30.7% and 1.26FPPM. He will likely be the 2nd guy in my lineup tonight after Tyus. Dillon Brooks is other main beneficiary here as he has a 29.7% usage and 1.08 FPPM. Desmond Bane and Brandon Clarke are also in play for me here. On the Indy side we have some news to wait on for this one. Haliburton is 9300 though and hasnt paid off that tag in a while. I much prefer going to Buddy Hield.The bigs for the Pacers continue to be a jumbled mess but all 3 are in the low 5k range and have upside at the prices.

The Pistons (18-50) head to Miami take on the Heat (45-24). The Pistons are 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread, while the Heat are 4-1 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Pistons are bottom dwellers in the East and have been eliminated from the playoffs. I dont have much interest in them in DFS as the Heat are one of the best defenses in the league. MAAAAYbe take a shot on Isaiah Stewart at only 4500. On the Heat side, Bam continues to be too cheap at only 8200. Oladipo muddies the waters for everyone else as he is only playing around 18 mins but taking usage away from other players.

SUNS (116) -6, 225 vs PELICANS (110)
The PHO Suns (54-14) travel to NO to face the Pelicans (28-40). Phoenix is 1-3-1 in their last 5 games against the spread while the Pelicans are 2-3 in their last 5 games against the spread. The Suns are looking to add to their 7.5 game lead as the 1 seed in the west. Devin Booker continues to do everything for this team while CP3 is out. He is coming off a massive 58 DK point performance, but his price went up 400 to 9600 on DK. Cam Payne is too pricey for me to play him. Deandrea Ayton is intersting in this matchup as he is only 7300. On the Pelicans side, CJ McCollum is questionable as he is in the Covid Protocols but could get activated in time here. Thats huge news on this slate. Brandon Ingram and the Fat Boy ZION continue to be out. Not sure I am willing to pay 8600 for Joval in this spot. If CJ plays tonight, that takes Graham, Herb and Murphy off the table for me DFS Wise. Alot here depends on the CJ news.
