NBA Best Bets: Game 4 – Do We Have Two Sweeps?

Nuggets @ Lakers

What people thought would be a hard-fought series has turned into a slaughtering. The Nuggets have dominated the Lakers in every way possible, and tonight, Denver will be playing for a sweep.

While everyone knew the Nuggets would be a far more formidable opponent for the Lakers, no one believed me when I said the Nuggets would not allow this series to go past five games, and here we are. It’s looking like a sweep, and the Nuggets have accomplished this Jokic averaging only 27 points per game.

Tonight should be the night when Serbian Jordan steps up, has a big game, and closes out the series.

While the Nuggets sweeping the Lakers would not be that spurring, the Heat would make history if they were able to not only pull off the upset against Boston but do it in four games.

Should Miami close out this series, they would join the 1999 Knicks as the only eight-seed to make it to the Finals. The Knicks went on to lose to the Spurs in five games. While the Heat would be in for a similar fate against Denver in the Finals, there is always a chance for this scrappy bunch.

The Heat do not want to make a trip up to Boston to finish things off, so they will push to end this thing in four. Given how things are going for Boston, they might not even put up a fight. So this should be an easy win for the Heat.
