Miami could not close out the series Wednesday, so they will have to do it tonight at home. Losing a Game 5 isn’t a big deal, but it is critical Miami finishes New York today while they’re at home. Nobody wants to mess around with a Game 7 showdown at Madison Square Garden.

Jimmy Butler had a playoff low of 19 points last time out. New York’s defense finally decided to show up; they looked like the team that defeated the Cavaliers. However, if they can’t channel that again today, their season will be over.

This was always Miami’s series to lose, but Game 6 is a turning point. If they don’t win tonight, they risk losing this series that they so easily had in hand.

Golden State @ Los Angeles

Also returning home to try and claim the series is the Los Angeles Lakers. Golden State demolished LA in San Francisco, and now the Warriors will push for a Game 7 on their home court.

Playing on the road has been a kryptonite for the Warriors all season long, so it would be fitting for their season to end here. However, the Warriors might find new life with an injured Anthony Davis.

We have all been waiting for Curry or Klay to pop off a 40 points game, but it has been a team effort that has gotten the job done in this series. No one has eclipsed 31 points for the Warriors; it will be interesting to see what Kerr has in his arsenal for tonight.

With AD’s playing on a hurt foot, it will be up to old man James to take care of business. He hasn’t scored more than 28 points in these playoffs, but he will need to top that number if the Lakers want even a chance.

Golden State +2.5 (-110)
LeBron Over 26.5 Points (-113)
