NBA Best Bets – 3/18/23

Kings @ Wizards

This stop in Washington is the third leg of the Kings’ four-game road trip. They have been perfect to this point, and there is no reason to think that will change as they take on the fifth-worst team in the East.

Once again, the Kings are a short favorite; being the second-best team in the West, there is no reason for these small spreads. It’s insulting to the whole city of Sacramento, but it makes for an easy bet.

The Wizards can’t seem to decide if they want a lottery pick or a spot in the Play-In Tournament. Given that there is no chance of them seeing a playoff series, they should be playing for a one percent shot at Victor Wembanyama.

Sacramento -2.5 (-110)

Warriors @ Grizzlies

The Grizzlies return home to take on the Warriors, and they are hoping it’s their last game without Ja Morant.

The Warriors’ road woes continue as they dropped their second game in a row. Last night, they had a battle in Atlanta that came down to the wire, but Golden State couldn’t pull off the victory. Now they head to Memphis for the second time this month. They lost in their last three trips to Tennessee, but they will try to turn things around tonight.

Memphis returns home after splitting their two-game road trip. They are now a game behind Sacramento, and they will be looking for a win, so they don’t slip further behind.

This game could easily go either way, but the smart move is to bet with the trends and take Memphis to win at home, yet again.

Memphis -3 (-110)

Another trend worth betting on is Desmond Banes’ assist prop. He’s been drilling it lately, with the over paying out in seven of his last nine.

Desmond Bane Over 5.5 Assists (+105)
