Memphis @ San Antonio

The Memphis Grizzlies head back to Texas to take on the Spurs and complete their three-game road trip.
The Grizzlies are 3-3 both straight up and at the spread since the loss of Ja Morant. He is eligible for return on Monday, and this team has done a fine job of staying afloat in his absence. After the Kings win last night, Memphis needs a win here to gain the half game they lost last night, and return to being tied for second.
While Taylor Jenkins has always been able to find ways to win with guys missing, he has an easy task today against the Spurs. His team easily defeated the Mavericks when they were in Dallas earlier in the week, and they are hoping to do the same thing here.
San Antonio remains one of the biggest losers in the Western Conference, and while they try to catch up to the Rockets, they should deliver an easy win to Memphis. The Grizzlies are great at beating up inferior opponents, so they shouldn’t have any trouble covering this one.
Memphis -8 (-110) Tyus Jones Under 7.5 Assists (+108)
Boston @ Portland

The Boston Celtics are struggling on this road trip. They kicked things off with a win against Miami but followed that game up with a loss against Houston. And while they bounced back with a win against Minnesota, they screwed bettors, losing terribly at the spread. As a result, they are just a three and a half point favorite in Portland.
Portland has been playing horribly this month, losers of four in a row and seven of their last nine. Returning home from a six-game road trip, there were hoping to turn things around, but the Knicks left town with a 123-107 dub, and the Trail Blazers’ woes continued.
Few things in this league are tougher than beating the Celtics, so busting a slump against them is an extremely tall order. So while a reasonable argument can be made for both sides, Boston is the smart move tonight.
Boston -3.5 (-110)
