Lakers @ Rockets

The Lakers will be without Anthony Davis and Lebron James as they head to Houston to take on the Rockets. This line jumps off the page, as the Rockets are only given three points today. However, the Lakers may play better without their superstars.
We have seen this time and time again, where a squad isn’t expected to win without their best player(s), but a different style of play emerges in such situations. Without anyone dominating ball possession, team basketball takes over. The Lakers desperately need a win to help themselves in the standings, and they can’t afford to lose to the Rockets just because they are missing LeBron and AD.
LA -3 (-110)
D’Angelo Russell will certainly see the most time of possession, but he is fantastic at commanding the floor. He had a down game in New Orleans, but he is poised for a bounceback here.
Russell Over 6.5 Assists (-110)
Celtics @ Timberwolves

After an embarrassing loss in Houston, the Celtics roll onto Minnesota. Having lost the number one slot in the East, the Celtics need to find their footing to keep them from falling further.
The Timberwolves have been plagued by inconsistent play all season long but still hold the seventh-best record in the Western Conference. Nearly everyone in their starting five has sustained some kind of injury this season, which has certainly been tough for them. While they had high hopes for this season, they have failed to find a groove, and the season is likely too far gone at this point.
This should be an easy smash spot for the Celtics.
