Cavs @ Heat

Following their battle on Wednesday, the Cavaliers and Heat face off again today in South Beach. Cleveland snuck out a narrow 104-100 victory, and they stayed in town to try and do it again.
Although only a few spots in the standings separate these two teams, there is a significant gap in talent between them. While the Cavaliers currently sit in the fourth slot and have a chance to take the East, no team below them appears to be a threat. As the regular season draws to a close, the Heat will make a push to avoid the Play-In Tournament. However, even if they succeed, they’ll likely just be setting themselves up for a sweep by either the 76ers or the Cavaliers.
Donovan Mitchell only scored 18 points in Wednesday’s game, but his team was still able to secure the victory. With the expectation of a stronger performance from Mitchell today, the Cavs will likely have an easier time securing a win.
Kevin Love had hoped for a revenge game, but he only scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds. So even if he has a stronger showing in tonight’s game, it’s unlikely to impact the outcome.
Cleveland -1.5 (-110)
Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 Points (-110)
Raptors @ Lakers

The Raptors close out their five-game road trip tonight against the Lakers. It’s been an ugly trip, as they have lost three of four to this point, and given how the Lakers have been playing, things likely won’t improve for Toronto tonight.
The Lakers have been unaffected by missing LeBron. They have won and covered three of their last four, and their quest to climb the standings is going quite well. Tonight should be an easy win, as Toronto has been terrible on the road with a record of 12-22, and their record at the spread is almost identical.
Anthony Davis has been a monster and is the main reason for this team’s newfound success. He has scored 28+ five games in a row, and as long as he continues to play like this, the Lakers should be set up well for the playoffs.
Los Angeles (+105) AD Over 28.5 Points (-110)
