Sacramento Kings @ Miami Heat
The Sacramento Kings continue their four game road trip with a rematch against the Miami Heat. After opening the season with four losses, the Kings found their first win when they hosted the Heat. They followed up that performance with a win against Charlotte, and now they are in Miami looking for seconds.
Miami has also had a poor opening to the season, winning just three of their first eight. This is the second of the four-game set they have at home. A sweep here would do wonders for this teams morale.
Miami’s largest concern is their scoring, they are a bottom five team in scoring and while they already makes it hard to win, it’s almost impossible when they are a top ten team in points allowed per game.
Bettors can expect Miami to split their set with Sacramento, so after taking that brutal loss Saturday expect the Heat to bring it tonight.
Miami -6.5 (-110) & Under 222 (-110)
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The New Orleans Pelicans have been spectacular to open the season. They are 4-2, beating the likes of LA, Dallas, and Utah, and look to keep things rolling tonight against Los Angeles.
The Pelicans are the number one scoring team in the league, and after facing the worst scoring team their last time out — the Clippers — they face the next worst today with the Lakers.
The Lakers have been woeful in their first six games. After losing their first five, they picked up their first win against the Nuggets. Three of their five Ls came by nine points or more. Darvin Ham needs to find some order, or he will fall to the same fate as Steve Nash.
Back-to-back games in Los Angeles are never a good thing for a visiting team. So bettors may consider the Lakers’ moneyline, but they should cover without a problem.
Lakers +3 (-110) & Under 228.5 (-110)
