5 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Spencer Strider – 12.8DK – Extremely expensive here at home against the Phillies. He just faced them in his last start and got 32.2 DK. He has 259 strikeouts on the season and he is chasing John Smoltz’s single season Braves record of 276. Can he silence the Phillies bats yet again? I think so! He will come in with less ownership than Blake Snell and both are competing for the CY Young! Over the last 5 weeks, he has a 3.12 xFIP, 36% k rate and a 8% walk rate.
  2. Luis Castillo – 11.3DK – Castillo gets a matchup in Oakland against the awful Athletics here tonight. He will come in behind Strider and Snell in ownership on this slate and makes for a great tournament play. Over the last 5 weeks, he has struggled a bit, but this matchup should get him back on track!
  3. Blake Snell – 10.6DK –  Neck and neck with Strider in the Cy Young race. Gets a pristine matchup at home here against the Rockies at home. Will prolly get to 40% owned on a 12 game slate! Over the last 5 weeks, he has a 3.72 xFIP, 32% k rate and a 12% walk rate. The walks continue to be a real issue for him.
  4. Alex Cobb – 7.5DK – Like Cobb a ton here tonight in Arizona against the Dbacks. Over the last 2 weeks, they have struck out the 12th most in MLB and been a bottom 5 offense. Over the last 5 weeks, Cobb has a 3.62 xFIP, 18% k rate and a 3% walk rate. I think he can get 5-6 clean innings here. Not many cheap pitchers today!
  5. Alec Marsh – 5.7DK – We played him last time out against the White Sox and he got us 18.8DK. I think we get a similar performance here tonight. He has a 14% swinging strike rate and a 28% k rate over the last 5 weeks. Lot of upside for the price here in a good matchup.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Texas Rangers – Absolutely LOVE the Rangers tonight at home against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox. Josh Jung and Adolis Garcia are back and this lineup is fully healthy now! Semien, Seager, Garver, Jung and Carter are the priorities for me here.
  2. Baltimore Orioles –  They NUKED last night and I think they do as well here tonight against Hunter Brown! Love riding hot bats and the Os are pushing to keep the AL EAST lead! Gunnar, Rutschman, Santander and Mullins are the priorities here.
  3. Seattle Mariners – They get Paul Blackburn and the awful A’s bullpen here tonight. Crawford, Jrod, Raleigh, Teoscar and Canzone are the priorities here.
  4. San Diego Padres – They got me the shipper last night and it could def happen again here tonight. This Rockies pitching staff has almost a 6 ERA on the season and the pen is even worse. Profar, Tatis, Soto, Machado, Bog and Campusano are the priorities here.
  5. Atlanta Braves – They have the highest implied total on the slate tonight. I’m not sure why the Phillies are piggy backing Sanchez with Lorenzen here tonight though. Riley Ozuna, Arcia and Acuna are the priorities!
