5 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Justin Steele – 10.1DK – Absolutely LOVE Steele in this spot at Arizona. He is making a late season push for the Cy Young award and he has been AWESOME over the last 5 weeks. He has a slate low 2.32 xFIP, 31% k rate and only a 3% walk rate. Ownership is showing less than 5% as of this writing. YES PLEASE! My favorite pitcher on the entire slate!
  2. Tarik Skubal – 9.0DK – Guy is just a total STUD. He is also projecting to be a lower owned option on tonight’s slate which I love! Over the last 5 weeks, he has the 2nd lowest xFIP on the slate at 2.72 along with a 29% k rate and a 6% walk rate. LOVE him here. Steele/Skubal main lineup is where I am leaning as of now!
  3. Seth Lugo – 8.6DK –  Lugo gets a matchup in Oakland against the Athletics. Over the last 5 weeks, he has a 4 xFIP, 21% k rate and a 6% walk rate. Oakland has been hitting as of late, but they have also been striking out a ton.
  4. Logan Webb – 8.6DK – Since 6/23, Webb has faced the Rockies twice in SF and hasn’t allowed a run in 15 innings pitched. He did allow 4 ER in the start prior IN Colorado. I still like him a bit here. He has an excellent 3.25 xFIP over the last 5 weeks.
  5. Griffin Canning – 8.2DK – LOVE both pitchers in this game. Canning has been AWESOME over the last 5 weeks. He has posted a 3.46 xFIP, 27% k rate and a 5% walk rate.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. San Francisco Giants – Enormous 6.8 team total for the Gigantes in Coors tonight against Chase Anderson. He has been awful to BOTH sides of the plate. Yas, Wade and Flores are the priorities here, but all are in play.
  2. Houston Astros –  They get Zack Greinke who is 1-15 with a 5.47 ERA and a 1.3 whip with only 84 Ks in 126 inning pitched. FULL SEND here. The lefties are def the priority here though.
  3. Texas Rangers – This team is on a bit of roll to end the season, which they needed badly cause they have stunk for a month and are losing the playoff dream. I have been attacking Giolito all season and wont stop here. Seager continues to just RAKE. Semien, Garver and Evan Carter are the other priorities.
  4. Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies get the lefty in Zack Thompson here. They have been NUKING left-handed pitching over the last month. Literally the whole lineup. They have a 277 ISO and a 395 WOBA against them. Don’t forget Sosa down in the 7 or 8 hole! He has also been smashing them!!
  5. New York Mets – LOVE the Mets here at home against the floundering Hunter Greene. Over the last 5 weeks, he has given up over a 292 ISO and over a 397 WOBA to BOTH sides of the plate. He has also given up a MASSIVE 80%!!! HC to lefties. His last 2 starts were def better than the first 2, but he is still walking a ton of guys.
