Five Pitchers to Consider

1. Lucas Giolito, $7,800 (DK) vs Detroit – After a strong start to his season, Giolito struggled through a stretch of five starts but pitched well in his last outing in San Francisco. In that start he went six innings giving up only one earned, striking out seven in a 13-4 win over the Giants. Tonight he should carry over that momentum in a great matchup at home against Detroit.

2. Zack Wheeler, $10,000 (DK) @ St. Louis – No one seems to ever want to play Wheeler but he has quietly been one of the more consistent fantasy pitchers heading into the All-Star break. He just dominated the Cardinals five days ago in Philadelphia allowing only four hits and no earned runs in a 4-0 win.

3. Charlie Morton, $9,200 (DK) vs Washington – After a rough start to the season, Morton has really pitched well the last several weeks. Over his last five starts, he has recorded over 30 DK points three times with 47 strikeouts. He should continue his hot stretch tonight in a nice matchup at home vs Washington.

4. Jose Urquidy, $8,200 (DK) @ Oakland – Speaking of great matchups, Urquidy has one tonight in Oakland against the A’s. In his last three starts, Urquidy has only given up 3 earned runs (all solo home runs) over 19 innings of work. I like the matchup and ball park here for him to have another great start.

5. Blake Snell $7,900 (DK) vs San Francisco – Another solid mid-lower tier option tonight is Blake Snell. He had his best outing of the year last time out when he recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts against the Dodgers giving up only a solo HR to Max Muncy. He should have a chance for back to back strong starts vs a Giants team that has been awful.

Five Stacks to Consider

1. New York Yankees vs Connor Seabold (R) – The Yankees should be on our list nearly every night considering the powerful offense and power upside they bring us. Connor Seabold will be making only his 3rd career start and has struggled in his first two against the Cubs and Blue Jays. They will be popular but the Yankees are at the top of my board.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Keegan Thompson (R) – Thompson has come back to earth a little the last two starts after solid outings against Pittsburgh and Atlanta. The 27-year old struggled in a loss to Cincinnati and then against Boston a start later. Tonight he will draw a tough matchup on the road against the power offense of the Dodgers. Free Money Freddie Freeman will be one of my top targets.

3. Atlanta Braves vs Erick Fedde (R) – Tough matchup on the road here for Erick Fedde going into Truist Park to face the Braves. This team has been on a roll and we can play this lineup top to bottom on a nightly basis. Dansby Swanson has had a breakout season up to this point compiling 14 HRs and 49 RBI’s. DK refuses to price up Michael Harris II ($3,300) and all he does is crush.

4. Milwaukee Brewers vs JT Brubaker (R) – The prices on the big Brewers bats seem expensive but they should come in lower owned because of that. They also have enough value guys as well where we can fit in a stack here against Brubaker. Christian Yelich and Rowdy Tellez have been swinging the bat well and will be guys to want to include if you are full stacking.

5. Chicago White Sox vs Tarik Skubal (L) – After an impressive start to his season, Tarik Skubal has struggled mightily in his last five starts. Control and giving up the home run has been his main problem and tonight shouldn’t get much easier going up against a White Sox team that is finally getting healthier. Outside of Anderson and Robert they are all pretty affordable here in a nice matchup at home.
