We have a nice little  5 game slate on tap for tonight!!  I am not seeing any weather issues!! Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!

3 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Shohei Ohtani – 11.5DK – Not looking to be all that popular on tonight’s slate. Over the last 5 weeks, he is sporting a 3.62 xFIP, 30% strikeout rate and a 8% walk rate.
  2. Lucas Giolito – 9.2DK – Lucas has been really good over his last 5 starts. He has a 3.93 xFIP along with a 30% striekout rate and a 7% walk rate. The blue Jays have also struck out the 2nd most vs righties over the last 2 weeks. Should also be lower owned on this slate.
  3. Tarik Skubal – 7.2DK – Coming off the IL making his first start since August 2022. Gets a plum matchup here at home against the Athletics. He went 68 pitches in his last AAA start and should get to 85ish here.

3 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Los Angeles Dodgers – Enormous 5.8 implied total for the Dodgers tonight facing Luis Ortiz. He really struggles with left-handed bats as he has allowed a 233 ISO and a 472 WOBA vs them this season. Freeman, Muncy, Peralta, Heyward and Outman are the priorities here.
  2. Atlanta Braves –  Short slate with limited options. The Braves have the most powerful offense in baseball, so I dont hate taking a shot on them here. Bieber is allowing a massive 58% HC vs lefties this season. Rosario, Harris, Olson and Albies are def the priorities here.
  3. Detroit Tigers – Again, limited offense on this night slate. JP Sears is a decent pitcher but their pen has been AWFUL. Also, this Tigers lineup has a 229 ISO and a 384 WOBA vs lefties this season. Vierling, Torkelson, Ibanez and Rogers are the priorities.
