5 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Gerrit Cole – 11.0DK – Has been AWESOME in his last 10 or so starts and over the last 5 weeks, he has a 2.97 xFIP, 31% k rate and a 5% walk rate. Baltimore’s offense has been middle of the pack over the last month. Like him here. Probably comes in lower owned as well.
  2. Kevin Gausman – 10.8DK – As of this writing it looks like Gausman will be a top 3 % owned pitcher on tonight’s slate. He has been mediocre over his last 3 starts averaging 18.5 DK. I will be underweight here.
  3. Zack Wheeler – 9.8DK –  Absolutely love Wheeler tonight against the hapless Pirates. Over the last month, they have struck out the 13th most and been a bottom 5 offense vs right-handed pitching. Wheeler has a 2.70 xFIP, 28% k rate and a 2% walk rate. LOVE HIM here.
  4. Bobby Miller – 7.7DK – Like this spot quite a bit for Miller at home against the Reds. Over the last 2 weeks, the Reds have struck out the 4th most vs rhp and been a bottom 5 offense.
  5. Kutter Crawford – 6.5DK – By far the best pitching conditions on the slate as its slated to be 60 degrees in SF. Also a very good spot for Kutter here as the Giants have struck out the 3rd most in the league vs RHP and been a bottom 5 offense.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Atlanta Braves – Highest total on the slate here a 6 runs. Facing Adrian Houser. We are targeting the lefties here in Olson, Albies, Rosario and Harris, but also like the righties quite a bit.
  2. Minnesota Twins –  It’s going to be 100 degrees with 15 MPH wind blowing out to center for this one. While Singer has been better as of late, he is still giving up massive HC to both sides of the plate and does struggle more vs lefties and the Twins will roll out 6-7 of them here. Julien, Kirrilof and Kepler are definitely the priorities.
  3. Colorado Rockies – I think the Athletics will be the more popular team in this game. The Rockies have been hitting the ball pretty good with a 251 ISO and 351 WOBA vs lefties in the last 30 days. The A’s pen is also horrific this season.
  4. St. Louis Cardinals – Massive temps and winds blowing out against Drew Smyly?? SIGN ME UP!! Goldy, Nado and Walker are the priorities here.
  5. Tampa Bay Rays – Javier has been awful this season. Over the last 30 days, he is giving up more than a 222 ISO and 368 WOBA to BOTH sides of the plate along with massive HC. Love the whole lineup here.
