    Four Pitchers to Consider

  1. Luis Castillo, $10,600 (DK) @ Minnesota Twins – Castillo just saw the Twins in his last start in Seattle. He went 6 innings allowing 3 runs and striking out a season-high 11 in a no-decision. His home/road splits haven’t been great on the road this year but still makes for a solid option if you want to spend up over $10k tonight.
  2. Yu Darvish, $9,400 (DK) vs Pittsburgh Pirates – If you want to save on your SP1 tonight starting your lineups Darvish against Pittsburgh is a great way to go. He is coming off back-to-back road wins in Toronto and Philadelphia. Over those two starts he allowed just one earned run in 12 innings. He gets a great matchup here at home against the Pirates.
  3. Logan Allen, $8,700 (DK) vs KC Royals – We have targeted pitchers against this Kansas City offense for weeks and tonight will be no different. Allen is coming one of his best starts of the season in Pittsburgh when he tossed 5 shutout innings allowing just one hit and striking out 8.
  4. Kenta Maeda, $8,600 (DK) @vs Seattle Mariners – Elevated price tag here for Maeda as the $8,600 tag is the highest of the season. In his last start in Seattle, he went 6 innings allowing 2 earned runs and had 9 strikeouts. I expect a similar stat line tonight.

    Four Stacks to Consider

  1. Cincinnati Reds @ Colin Rea (R) – After losing 6 games in a row, the Reds have now won 5 games in a row and now start a big series in Milwaukee. Outside of Elly De La Cruz ($5,900) and Matt McLain ($5,700) the rest of this lineup is reasonably priced in the mid-$4ks. They also have a few value pieces in Will Benson and Christian Encarnacion-Strand. Nice spot here vs Rea.
  2. San Diego Padres vs Quinn Priester (R) – It was a rough MLB debut for Priester last week against Cleveland. He got shelled giving up 7 hits and 7 runs over 5 innings of work. He also allowed 2 home runs. The Padres are expensive at the top but do have value pieces you can use from 6-9 to make a full stack work.
  3. Arizona Diamondbacks vs Adam Wainwright (R) – Adam Wainwright was activated today from the IL in time to make the start tonight in Arizona. Prior to his IL stint, Waino was awful ending up in the negative for fantasy points in his last 3 starts. Not sure why St. Louis continues to run him out there but he should be just what the Diamondbacks needs to break out of their 4-game losing streak. Corbin Carroll has homered in three of his last four games.
  4. Washington Nationals vs Kauffmann (R) / Bird (R) – The Nationals are fresh off a 3-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants. Now they look to keep the momentum going against the visiting Rockies. Lane Thomas is a rising star and has been crushing the baseball the last few weeks. CJ Abrams finally got a price bump to $3,600 but is still too cheap.
