    Five Pitchers to Consider

  1. Shohei Ohtani, $11,000 (DK) vs Pittsburgh Pirates – Ohtani is coming off back-to-back rough starts against Houston and San Diego where he gave up 9 earned runs over those two starts. He should get back on track here in a great home matchup against Pittsburgh. The Pirates have struck out the 3rd most in baseball over the last 30 days. He leads the slate with a 32% k rate.
  2. Framber Valdez, $10,800 (DK) @ Oakland A’s – It was an odd start last time out for Valdez. He struck out a season-high 13 batters in a matchup against the Angels. He also gave up 7 hits and 5 earned run in the no decision. He draws arguably the best matchup of the night in Oakland. He beat the A’s earlier in the year in Oakland when he went 6 innings allowing just one earned run striking out eight.
  3. Kodai Senga, $9,600 (DK) @ Boston Red Sox – Tougher matchup for Senga here going into Fenway Park tonight but he has been on a nice roll. He is off back-to-back strong starts against Los Angeles and Arizona where he allowed just 2 earned runs over 14 innings while striking out 21. He has a 30% k rate on the season.
  4. Lance Lynn, $7,600 (DK) @ Minnesota Twins – Lynn makes for a solid mid range option here tonight in Minnesota. Over the last 30 days the Twins have struck out the 2nd most in baseball. He has at least 6 strikeouts in his last 6 starts and had a career-high 16 back on June 18th in Seattle.
  5. Clarke Schmidt, $6,200 (DK) vs KC Royals – Schmidt has won his last 3 starts and is coming off his best start of the year when he beat Colorado in Coors Field. He gets a great home matchup here against the Royals who continue to struggle at the plate. They are near the bottom of the league in strikeouts over the last 30 days.

    Five Stacks to Consider

  1. Cincinnati Reds vs Tommy Henry (L) – Love the Reds here in one of the best hitting environments of the night in Great American Ball Park. The Reds bats are expensive but they do have a few value bats still in this lineup. Christian Encarnacion-Strand ($3,ooo) and Nick Senzel ($3,500) are guys you can use in your 5-man stacks here against the lefty.
  2. Atlanta Braves vs Freddy Peralta (R) – The Braves are a solid play slate but we should get them a little lower owned tonight against Freddy Peralta. They lead the league in home runs (182) by 27 over the next team the Dodgers. Austin Riley has been on fire hitting 4 bombs and putting up a whopping 87 fantasy points over his last 3 games.
  3. Los Angeles Dodgers @ Andrew Heaney (L) – Heaney has been up and down over his last 5 starts against weak offenses. He has faced the Guardians, Nationals, Astros, Tigers and White Sox over that stretch going 2-2. Tonight he faces the Dodgers who come into this game 2nd in the league in home runs while Heaney has given up 17 of them on the season. Sign me up!
  4. San Francisco Giants @ Jake Irvin (R) – Irvin has really struggled this year especially at home. He is 1-4 on the year at home giving up 23 earned runs and 22 walks over just 41 innings. This Giants lineup is always prone to pinch-hit risk but line up well here in this road matchup. Wilmer Flores has 7 hits and 4 home runs over his last 4 games.
  5. Cleveland Guardians vs Ranger Suarez (L) – The Guardians offense has struggled for most of the year but are coming off a big series in Pittsburgh. The bats came alive scoring 26 runs on 35 hits and hitting 6 home runs. I like them for a nice secondary stack tonight against Suarez who has given up 11 earned runs in his last 3 starts.
