5 pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Shane McClanahan – 10.0DK – This man is just incredible. He is AVERAGING 27!! DK points in 15+ starts this season. He should be 12K! He has a quality start in all but 2 starts this season. He leads the slate with a massive 36% strikeout rate along with a 2.19 SIERA.
  2. Shohei Ohtani – 9.1DK – He should be about 900 more here. He has the 2nd highest strikeout rate on the slate at 34.5 % and has a 2.57 SIERA on the season. He gets a Houston team that is missing Yordan Alvarez as he is on the IL.
  3. Jon Gray – 7.7DK  – Like him a TON in this spot at home against the A’s. He is just too cheap. He has a 27% strikeout rate along with a 3.51 SIERA on the season.
  4. Luis Severino – 9.2DK – He has a home matchup against the Reds. They have struck out the most versus RHP over the last couple of weeks and have been a bottom 4 offense. Sevy has a 28% strikeout rate along with a 3.28 SIERA on the season
  5. Spenser Watkins – 5.0DK – DK only play here. Simply too cheap for a pitcher in Wrigley with the wind blowing in. He is coming off 2 straight quality starts against the Rangers and Twins.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. San Diego Padres – Another Coors slate, another CHALK Pads team!! This time versus a righty after they disappointed versus a lefty last night. Chad Kuhl is allowing a 211 ISO and 505 xSLG versus left-handed bats this season.
  2. New York Yankees  – Another total smash spot for the Yankees on this slate facing the lefty Mike Minor. His numbers versus right-handed bats are dreadful. He is allowing a 350 ISO and a 599 xSLG.
  3. Cleveland Guardians – Facing the broken Lucas Giolito tonight who just gave up 5 ER to the Detroit Tigers. He has a 4.55 xERA on the season
  4. Chicago White Sox – Like the other side of this game as well here. Aaron Civale just isn’t good. I def like the lefties more here as civale is allowing a 493xSLG versus them this season.
  5. Texas Rangers – At home here versus Paul Blackburn. He is allowing a 192 ISO and 446 xSLG versus left-handed hitters and will likely face 7 of them here.
