We have a nice 10 game main slate on tap for tonight! The only weather issue is in Coors, it doesn’t look good for them as of 9 AM ET!!!! Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!

5 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Max Scherzer – 9.7DK – This Braves team has a 33% strikeout rate in 252 plate appearances against Max. He gives up bombs, but he can also dominate this Braves team. I don’t like Burnes or Webb up top, so he is my expensive guy up top tonight. He still has a massive 14% swinging strike rate on the season.
  2. Charlie Morton – 9.2DK – Charlie has had really good success against this Mets team. In 209 plate appearances he has a 29% strikeout rate along with a 299 xwoba. He has kinda been a yoyo this season, but I like him here.
  3. Jon Gray – 8.9DK – Has been absolutely amazing this season. He is averaging 17.5 DK points per game hasn’t gone below 21 DK in each of last 5 starts. Over his last 3 starts he has swinging strike rates of 14, 16 and 14, the highest on the season.
  4. Tanner Bibee – 8.5DK – Like the Rookie quite a bit here against the Red Sox. The weather in Cleveland is also a bit chilly with 14 mph winds blowing in from center. He has been fantastic this season. He has a 26% strikeout rate along with only a 6% walk rate. The Red Sox have struke out the 7th most in MLB over the last 2 weeks and been a bottom 5 offense versus RHP.
  5. Randy Vasquez – 4DK – We get another STONE MIN punt play who will for sure have some ownership. He went 84 pitches in his first start of the year and should be full go here. I will always like a stone min decent pitcher who is fully stretched out.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Los Angeles Dodgers – This series is going to have SOOOO many runs scored. last nights game ended 9-8, and I’m expecting something similar here tonight. This team has been absolutely annihilating left handed pitching over the last month. They are top 3 in ISO and WOBA and have struck out the 2nd fewest. Cincy has a bad pen as well. Love the whole lineup here.
  2. Cincinnati Reds –  On the other side, Thor is stepping on the mound. This could get bad very quick for him tonight. Rookie Phenom De La Cruz made his debut last night and he was destroying the baseball. This reds team will also steal every time 2nd base is open on Thor. Huge upside for the game stack here, but it will be popular.
  3. Texas Rangers – I will be 5 manning the Rangers on every slate. Their offense is just too damn good to not too. Ownership should be kept in check with the Dodgers game and Coors on the slate as well. I’m not convinced that Flaherty has fixed his walk issues and this Rangers team in addition to their power, will run all over him.
  4. San Francisco Giants – In Coors facing Seabold. We need to keep an eye on the weather here. Seabold has been awful to both sides of the plate.
  5. Toronto Blue Jays – I dont think this Blanco kid is any good right now and this lineup always has massive upside with the power they have. The Jays have the highest wrc+ and the 5th highest iso versus RHP over the last 2 weeks. Like them a ton here.
