5 pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Carlos Rodon – 10.4DK – Such an incredible matchup here for Rodon at home against the lowly Tigers. His projection is 6 points higher than the number 2 guy. He has the highest strikeout rate on the slate at 31.3% and has a 3.15 SIERA.
  2. Zack Wheeler – 10.8DK – Boom./bust ,atchup versus Atlanta here. He put up 30 DK against them earlier this season. Acuna should be out of the lineup again here tonight. Over the last month, Wheeler has a 30% strikeout rate along with a 2.64 SIERA and a .39 HR/9.
  3. Robbie Ray – 9.5DK  – Facing the Orioles tonight. I think people could be gun shy after the letdown by a chalk Kirby last night. Ray has a 26% striekout rate along with a 3.67 SIERA on the season.
  4. Patrick Corbin – 5.3DK – Massive projection here for Corbin facing the Pirates. They have struck out the 7th most versus LHP and have been a bottom 4 offense.
  5. JP Sears – 6.1DK – Very talented pitcher here. In 10 starts in AAA this season, he has a 1.83 ERA in 39 innings with 50 strikeouts and a .74 WHIP. Very impressive stuff going against an anemic Athletics squad.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Los Angeles Dodgers – Wow, what a disappointment they were last night getting shut down by Chad Kuhl. I will be going right back to the well here as it will be 90 degrees and the wind will be blowing out.
  2. Houston Astros  – b2b matchups against the Astros. Not good for cookie!! absolutely love the lefties here.
  3. St. Louis Cardinals – Facing a mediocre lefty here in Braxton Garrett. Carlson, Goldy and Nado are my favs here.
  4. New York Yankees – They put up a 9 spot on the A’s last night and am expecting similiar here tonight. Their bullpen is one of the worst in baseball.
  5. Texas Rangers – Heasley just isnt good. ESPECIALLY versus lefties. He is giving up a 338 ISO versus left handed batters this season.
