Five Pitchers to Consider

1. Aaron Nola, $10,300 (DK) @ San Diego – Nola was awesome in his last start in Washington going eight innings giving up only four hits, no runs and striking out eight. Over his last 23 innings he has given up only two earned runs. San Diego is expected to be without Manny Machado for a fifth straight game.

2. Michael Kopech, $9,000 (DK) vs Baltimore – All indications are that Michael Kopech is healthy again for tonight’s start against the Orioles. He has let down fantasy owners the last couple starts but prior to that had monster games against the Dodgers and Yankees. This is a nice price point tonight given the matchup at home and one that could pay off in a big way.

3. Jeffrey Springs, $8,500 (DK) vs Pittsburgh – It was only a few weeks ago we were able to get Springs in the $5 – $6k range. Prior to his last start in Baltimore where he was ineffective, he had put up five straight quality starts. He makes for a nice mid-range option here in a great matchup against the Pirates.

4. Merrill Kelly $7,900 (DK) vs Detroit – I have been using pitchers against the lowly Tigers all year and tonight will be no different. Kelly should be one of the more popular mid-range options. He is coming off a road win in Minnesota where he went seven strong innings giving up only one earned run with five strikeouts.

5. Dylan Bundy, $7,700 (DK) vs Colorado – Bundy is always a tough roster as he can be very boom/bust at times. If we can get the “good” Bundy he will more than pay off this price tag. He is coming off his best start of the year in Arizona where he went eight strong innings, giving up only run while striking out seven. He should be able to carry that momentum over from last start here tonight vs the Rockies who have struggled on the road.

Five Stacks to Consider

1. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Ian Anderson (R) – The Dodgers look to stay hot when they travel to Truist Park to take on the Braves. They are coming off a sweep in Cincinnati where the scored 26 runs and hammered 7 home runs. Ian Anderson is coming off a nice start in Chicago but this will be a tough ask to slow down the power bats of the men in blue. It will be hot in Atlanta and the balls should be flying out. Sign me up!!!

2. St. Louis Cardinals vs Kyle Hendricks (R) – The veteran right-hander Kyle Hendricks seems to be on a downward trajectory this season. He is coming off a rough start in Atlanta where he gave up eight hits and six earned runs in only four innings. Paul Goldschmidt has been on fire the last 10 days and should be able to continue his hot streak here vs Hendricks and the Cubs bullpen.

3. Minnesota Twins vs German Marquez (R) – The Twins are hoping to get Byron Buxton back in the lineup tonight against German Marquez and the Rockies. Marquez has struggled most of the year and enters tonight with a 6.16 ERA and has given up 14 home runs so far on the year.

4. Arizona Diamondbacks vs Rony Garcia (R) – This is a spot I think comes in lower owned on this slate. The Diamondbacks are coming off a rough road trip in San Diego but should be able to get back on track tonight against Rony Garcia. I will mainly be targeting the left-handed bats here in a late night hammer to send us up the leaderboards.

5. Texas Rangers vs Paola Espina (R) – After working out of the bullpen most of the year, Espino will be making his 3rd straight start and shouldn’t go very deep in this game. He struggled in his first two against the Phillies and Brewers. This Rangers lineup lines up very well here tonight especially Corey Seager.
