5 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Nathan Eovaldi – 11.1DK – Does not have the same strikeout upside as other typical 11K pitchers, but more than makes up for it in consistency. He is averaging 23.4 DK points per game which is incredible. The White Sox have also been a bottom 10 offense versus RHP over the last month. He wont be owned at all tonight. I will be fading Cole tonight who is going to be mega chalk in favor of Eovaldi.
  2. Clayton Kershaw – 10.5DK – Will likely be the 2nd highest owned pitcher on the slate. I def prefer him to Cole as a chalky option on this slate. Over the last month, he has been fantastic with a 3.07 xFIP, 29% strikeout rate and a 7% walk rate.
  3. Framber Valdez – 10.2DK – Another ace pitcher who rarely gets ownership as he isn’t a big strikeout guy. He is on par with Eovaldi as one of the most consistent FP producers in MLB. He is averaging 22.8 DK points per game. I’m not scared of this Mets lineup.
  4. Marcus Stroman – 8.9DK – Yet another guy who isn’t known for his strikeout prowess, but has been AWESOME this season. He has won 6 straight starts and is averaging 24.7 DK over those 6 starts. He has a 3.82 xFIP over the last month.
  5. George Kirby – 8.7DK – I’m not liking any cheaper pitching options on this slate. Kirby has been AWESOME over the last month posting a incredible 3.27 xFIP, 25% strikeout rate and a 1.7% walk rate.
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (19) talks with Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz (44) and Cincinnati Reds shortstop Matt McLain (9) during a pitching change in the sixth inning of a baseball game between the Colorado Rockies and the Cincinnati Reds, Monday, June 19, 2023, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Reds won, 5-4.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Cincinnati Reds – Going right back to the well with the Reds here tonight. Noah Davis is getting the start for the Rockies and he should go about 70 pitches before giving way to the awful Rockies pen. I love the lefties here and am glad Fraley is back for them.
  2. Cleveland Guardians –  I might not end up full stacking them, but I will def have some Guardians mini stacks against Waldichuck and the atrocious As bullpen. Jram, Naylor, Bell and Gimenez are the priorities for me.
  3. Arizona Diamondbacks – Colin Rea has been absolutely AWFUL against left handed bats. He is allowing a massive 290 ISO and 506 WOBA against them in the last month. This dbacks lineup will likely have 6 lefties in there.
  4. San Diego Padres – Descalfani just isn’t good. Over the last 30 days, he is allowing a 286 ISO and 439 WOBA versus Left handed hitters. While he is better versus righties, don’t omit them from your stacks here.
  5. Texas Rangers – I will continue to stack the Rangers on every single slate. They have been one of the best offenses in baseball this season and can nuke any pitcher. We should get them low owned tonight as they are going up against Cease. These lefties for the Rangers are def the priority.
