5 pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Gerrit Cole – 10.5DK – Such a great spot for Cole here. Since 6/1 the Rays have struck out the 6th most in the league versus righties and have been a bottom 8 offense in the league. Cole has a 31% k rate and a 2.87 SIERRA on the season.
  2. Shane McClanahan – 10.3DK – Its always scary playing pitchers against the Yankees, but Shane isnt your ordinary pitcher. He has been CY Young worthy this season with a massive 35% k rate along with an impressive 2.28 SIERA.
  3. Corbin Burnes – 9.9DK  – He his third in my pecking order today at the top due to the matchup versus the red hot Cardinals. He has a 32% k rate and a 2.68 SIERA on the season.
  4. Yu Darvish – 8.1DK – He is way too cheap on DK as he is 10.2K on FD. He has been fantastic this season. He has 9 quality starts in his 12 starts. He has a nut matchup here against a Arizona squad that has struck out the 5th most versus RHP since 6/1 and has the 3 lowest wRC+.
  5. Noah Syndergaard – 6.4DK – I really like the price here versus a bad Royals team. This is the lowest price we have seen on him all season. While the Royals havent been striking out, they have been a bottom 10 offense this season versus RHP.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Toronto Blue Jays – Excellent weather here for the jays going against the washed Lance Lynn. In his season debut against the Tigers he gave up 10 hits and 3ER. I expect a shelling here. The Blue Jays have been the 2nd best offense versus RHP since 6/1.
  2. Los Angeles Angels – Facing Kris Bubic here. He has a slate high 6.73 expected ERA and has given up 7 runs over his last 2 starts. Im betting on the talent here for the Angels as they have not been good versus LHP over the past few weeks.
  3. Boston Red Sox – Facing Alex Faedo and the awful Tigers pen. Faedo has the highest launch angle allowed on the slate as well as exit velocity allowed.
  4. Chicago White Sox – We could get them very low owned tonight as Berrios has been the smoke and mirrors show over his last 3 starts against the Orioles, Tigers and Twins. He has a 5.54 expected ERA and a massive 17 degree launch angle allowed as well as the 2nd highest EV allowed on the slate.
  5. Atlanta Braves – It wouldnt be an article from me unless i mentioned my Braves. Anytime I can get them lower owned I’m in. Not many people will want to target Webb, but I like the spot in Atlanta here tonight.
