    Five Pitchers to Consider

  1. Framber Valdez, $10,100 (DK) vs LA Angels – Great pitching matchup tonight in Houston between Valdez & Ohtani. Valdez has been much better than his 5-4 record would indicate. He beat the Angels back on May 9th when he racked up a season-high 12 strikeouts.
  2. Logan Webb, $9,700 (DK) vs Baltimore Orioles – After a slow start to the season Webb has been on a roll. In his last 7 starts, he is 4-1 and has gone 6+ innings in each start. He is coming off a strong start in Milwaukee where he had 11 strikeouts and put up 36.8 DK points.
  3. Luis Castillo $9,400 (DK) @ Texas Rangers – Castillo is coming off back-to-back strong starts against Pittsburgh & Oakland. Over those 2 starts he gave up just 5 hits, no runs and 18 strikeouts. Tougher matchup here against the Rangers in Texas but a solid price tag.
  4. Zack Wheeler, $9,200 (DK) @ Washington Nationals – Wheeler gets arguably the best matchup (on paper) of all the studs up top tonight. He is coming off a huge performance in Atlanta where he put up 43 DK points. Much easier matchup here and I expect another strong start.
  5. Jon Gray, $7,600 (DK) vs Seattle Mariners – Gray hasn’t lost a start since his opening start of the year against Baltimore. He is 4-0 in his last 4 starts and feels way too cheap here against a Seattle team that loves to strikeout.

    Five Stacks to Consider

  1. San Diego Padres vs Jameson Taillon (R) – The Padres return home after a 9-game road trip to face a struggling Jameson Taillon who hasn’t been able to complete 5 innings in his last 5 starts. Love Juan Soto and company here in a late night hammer.
  2. St. Louis Cardinals vs Roansy Contreras (R) – After a promising start to the season Contreras has really fallen on hard times. He was moved to the bullpen for most recent appearance but due to the injury to Vince Velasquez he will get another chance to start. I like the visiting Cardinals in this spot.
  3. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Luis Severino (R) – Severino has pitched well in his first two starts since coming off the injured list. He draws a tough matchup here in Los Angeles against a Dodgers offense that has scored 37 runs in their past 5 games.
  4. Philadelphia Phillies vs Josiah Gray (R) – Gray has struggled at times this year, especially with his control (31 walks). I like the way this Phillies lineup matches up against him here tonight. Bryce Harper hasn’t hit for much power so far this season (3 HRs) but I think he goes yard tonight.
  5. Atlanta Braves vs Merrill Kelly (R) – Kelly has pitched quite well this year but has had a lot of favorable matchups especially in his last several starts. I love the Braves here on the road to maybe come in a little lower owned in this spot.
