We have a nice little 7  game main slate on tap for tonight! There are no weather issues!! Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!

3 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Jesus Luzardo – 9.6DK – Will be popular on this small slate, but I always love playing the Lizard king. He has a massive 13.5% swinging strike rate along with a 3.64 xFIP, 28% k rate and a 6% walk rate. My only concern is that it will be 80 degrees in Seattle tonight, but I will likely still be overweight here.
  2. James Paxton – 9.3DK – I am officially a believer in his resurgence. He gets a hapless Rockies team outside of Coors here who we love to attack. He has a massive 14.6% swinging strike rate, 3.43 xFIP, 33% k rate and a 8% walk rate. Love him here.
  3. Dane Dunning – 6.1DK – He is the only appealing cheap pitcher on this slate. His advanced numbers really arent good, but he is a massive GB guy and outside of Ohtani and Trout, he should be able to manage this lineup fairly easily.

3 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Boston Red Sox – They are going to be the mega chalk of this slate no doubt. They have a 6 implied run total and these lefties are all in amazing spots as Seabold gives up MASSIVE HC to them.
  2. Tampa Bay Rays –  The Rays gets the Athletics awful bullpen and awful Kaprielian whose home road splits are identically awful. The lefties are the priority here as Kap is giving up a 225 ISO and a 373 WOBA against them this season. Josh Lowe is one of my favorite bats on the entire slate.
  3. Miami Marlins – This Marlins stack should come in less than 10% owned in this small slate as most think Bryce Miller is actually good. He has been getting demolished the last few starts. Specifically lefties are doing most of the damage with a 250 ISO allowed over the last 30 days. Jesus Sanchez is another on of my favorite bats on the slate. While this Marlins team doesnt have a ton of lefties, they have been rolling recently and have the best hitter in baseball on their squad as well. They have the 7th highest ISO versus righties over the last 2 weeks.
