Five Pitchers to Consider

1. Gerrit Cole, $9,900 (DK) vs Texas – After a slow start to the season the Cole Train has been fantastic in his last two starts. In wins over Kansas City and Cleveland, he has worked 12 2/3 scoreless innings with 15 strikeouts. Tonight he draws a nice matchup at home against the Rangers.

2. Kevin Gausman, $10,000 (DK) vs Cleveland – Gausman has been one of the top DFS pitchers to start the season and has a solid matchup here against the Guardians on the road. He struck out a season-high 10 batters in a 3-2 win over the Astros last time out.

3. Logan Gilbert, $9,200 (DK) vs Tampa Bay – Talk about strong starts to the season, Logan Gilbert is 4-0 with a 0.64 ERA (only 2 ER in 28 innings) in his five starts so far this season. He has totaled over 20 DK fantasy points in every outing averaging about one strikeout per inning. He should be in line for another strong start against the Rays at home in T-Mobile Park.

4. Sandy Alcantara, $7,700 (DK) vs San Diego – If you need to save salary and not spend up at both pitcher spots tonight, Alcantara is a nice option in the mid-range. He is coming off a loss to Seattle at home where he gave up a couple HR that hurt him. I look for him to bounce back with a strong performance here in San Diego. He comes in at his lowest price tag of the year.

5. Shane Bieber, $8,700 (DK) vs Toronto – In what figures to be a nice pitching matchup in Cleveland tonight, Bieber will take on the right-handed heavy lineup of the Toronto Blue Jays. This game total is sitting at 6.5 runs for a reason with these two strong arms on the mound. Bieber went 7 innings allowing only 1 ER in his last start in Oakland.

Five Stacks to Consider

1. Boston Red Sox vs Vince Velasquez – I love the spot here for the powerful Red Sox lineup against Velasquez in Fenway Park. Rafael Devers will be one of my favorite bats on the slate.

2. Houston Astros vs Beau BrieskeThe Astros should be a popular to team to stack tonight going up against Brieske who is making only his 3rd major league start. Really love the lefty power bats here in YorDONG Alvarez and Kyle Tucker. A full stack in clearly in play.

3. New York Yankees vs Glenn Otto – The red hot Yankees saw their 11-game winning streak snapped in Toronto on Wednesday 2-1. They will look to start a new streak tonight against Glenn Otto in Yankees Stadium. Anthony Rizzo and Aaron Judge are tied for the league lead in home runs with nine.

4. Minnesota Twins vs Zach Logue – The A’s are expected to give a spot start to Zach Logue tonight in place of the injured Cole Irvin. Logue will be making only his 2nd big league start and isn’t expected to go more than a few innings. Byron Buxton is underpriced at $5,300 on DK and will be a great option leading off here for the Twins.

5. Los Angeles Angels vs Joan Adon – The Nationals rookie Joan Adon has struggled mightily to start the season. He has given up 19 ER runs in only 23 innings of work. Enter the Angels power bats of Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout & company and this seems like a a very tasty matchup for the home team.
