    Five Pitchers to Consider

  1. George Kirby, $8,800 (DK) @ Oakland – Kirby is off to a solid start to the season and gets arguably the best matchup here on the road in Oakland. Since struggling in his first start of the year, he has gone at least six innings in each of his last four starts giving up two earned runs or less in every start. Just too cheap here.
  2. Justin Verlander, $10,800 (DK) @ Detroit – Verlander will be making his Mets and 2023 debut today in Detroit against the Tigers. In his last rehab start for Double-A Birmingham he struck out six and threw 69 pitches. Some may take a “wait and see approach” with him here but if he gets 80-90 pitches here in a great matchup he should put up a nice score.
  3. Grayson Rodriguez, $8,300 (DK) @ Kansas City – I like a few mid-tier guys today and Rodriguez is right up there for me as an option. He has a nice matchup here on the road in Kansas City and is coming off a monster game in Detroit where he put up 31.5 DK points.
  4. Eduardo Rodriguez, $7,800 (DK) vs New York Mets – Rodriguez has quietly pitched very well to start the season. He is 2-2 with a 2.21 ERA for a terrible Detroit Tigers team. In his last four starts he has given up just two earned runs over 26.2 innings. He struck out a season-high 10 batters in a 1-0 win over Cleveland back on April 18th.
  5. Lucas Giolito, $7,400 (DK) vs Minnesota – The White Sox are going for the 3-game sweep today in Chicago. After getting off to s slow start to the season Lucas Giolito has been pretty solid since. He is just too cheap here at $7,400 against an inconsistent Twins offense.

    Five Stacks to Consider

  1. Milwaukee Brewers vs Connor Seabold (R) – The Brewers bats have been quiet in Colorado the last few days but should get right today as they have a massive 6.57 implied team total. Connor Seabold has primarily worked out of the bullpen this year but with injuries to Noah Davis & German Marquez he will get a spot start here. They will be the chalk stack.
  2. Chicago Cubs vs Patrick Corbin (L) – We always like to the pick on Patrick Corbin and today will be no different. The Cubs offense has been quiet in this series so far. I think they explode of Corbin and the Nationals pen.
  3. Baltimore Orioles vs Jordan Lyles (R) – Another great hitting spot here as the Orioles see Jordan Lyles who has really struggled to an 0-5 start to the season. He has been hurt by the home run ball this year giving up 9 of them in just 35 innings. The Orioles offense was shutout last night. They get back on track today.
  4. Seattle Mariners @ Drew Rucinski (R) – Rucinski was lit up in his first appearance of the year in his last outing against Cincinnati. He gave up 11 hits and five runs (3 earned) in 5+ innings. Now he gets to face a much tougher offense today in Seattle. Sign me up!!!
  5. Colorado Rockies vs Wade Miley (L) – The other side of the game in Coors Field. I think the Rockies come in much lower owned than the Brewers do. They have outscored Milwaukee 10-3 through the first two games of this series.
