Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!  We have a nice 8 game slate on tap tonight with no weather issues!!

3 Pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Bryce Miller – 10.1DK – The absolute STONE matchup here for the Rookie at home against the hapless Athletics. He has a 3.80 xFIP on the season and a 25% strikeout rate with only a 2% walk rate. I will be overweight on him here.
  2. Kodai Senga – 9.2DK – Will be the mega chalk SP1 on the slate. Definitely a decision point on this slate. He has a 3.84 xFIP and a 29% strikeout rate but does have a slate high 14% walk rate. Christopher Morel also keeps hitting dingers and is on absolute fire.
  3. James Paxton – 8.9DK – Has been awesome since returning from injury with 2 21+ DK point performances against the Padres and Cardinals. He has a 30% CSW%, 32% strikeout rate and a 3.59 xFIP. Love him here.

3 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Miami Marlins – Another Coors slate on tap for tonight! The Marlins now get Karl Kauffmann who was awful in his last start. He went 4 innings, gave up 7 hits, 4 ER and 1 Home Run to go along with 2 walks. The Pen behind him isn’t good at all.
  2. Seattle Mariners –  Going right back to the Mariners here tonight against the AWFUL Waldichuck.  Kelenic hit a bomb off a lefty last game and I think he does again here! Waldichuck is allowing a 407 ISO vs lefties and a 270 ISO vs righties. The pen also continues to be the worst in the league by a wide margin.
  3. Boston Red Sox – Tyler Anderson has been absolutely atrocious this season. He has the worst xFIP on the slate at 6.25. He also only has a 13% strikeout rate along with a 11% walk rate. He is allowing a massive 237 ISO and a 372 WOBA vs right handed bats so they would be my focus here.
