MLB DFS DAILY BREAKDOWN – 5/2/2022

Welcome to RUN PURE SPORTS – MLB DFS Daily Breakdown. If you are not a member, come check us out!!!

Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!  We have a little 6 game slate tonight that locks a little early at 640 ET. Im not seeing any weather issues on this slate which is always a good thing! I will be recommending 3 pitchers and 3 stacks on these smaller slates!

3 pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Pablo Lopez – 10.0K – He gets the best matchup on the board facing a Arizona team that strikes out the most versus RHP. He has a 14% swinging strike rate on the season.
  2. Chris Bassitt – 9.6DK – I am a huge Bassitt fan even versus my Braves.
  3. Zac Gallen – 7.6DK  I am also a huge fan of Gallen and he gets the fish here tonight. He is priced too low IMO.
May 1, 2022; Toronto, Ontario, CAN; Houston Astros right fielder Kyle Tucker (30) hits a double during the ninth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Mandatory Credit: Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

3 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. Houston Astros – The highest implied total on the slate. Prefer the righties.
  2. New York Yankees – Stripling simply isnt a good pitcher at all. Sign me up here.
  3. Seattle Mariners – Love the Over in this game as well. Odorizzi isnt good at all. The rookie Phenom Julio Rodriguez is heating up.
