Let’s dive into the MLB DFS Daily Breakdown!  We have a nice 9 game slate on a Monday! Looks like we only have to watch out for weather in the Mets game.

5 pitchers to consider on this slate:

  1. Luis Severino – 8.8DK – The pitching on this slate is less to be desired. He gets the Orioles in Baltimore, which is a very pitcher friendly park now.
  2. Miles Mikolas – 9.8DK – I normally would never pay this tag for Mikolas as he only has a 18% k rate on the season, but he has only given up 7 ER in 42 innings on the season. Safe option here.
  3. Noah Syndergaard – 8.5DK  – Another SAFE option here.
  4. Garrett Whitlock – 7.6K – Very tough matchup here versus the Astros but he has the lowest expected ERA on the slate. He also has the highest k rate on the slate.
  5. Wade Miley- 4.4K – Making his 2nd start of the season here versus the awful Pirates. Price and matchup play here.

5 Stacks to consider on this slate:

  1. San Francisco Giants – Normally first game in Coors is a fade for me, but man, Senzatela has a 6% k rate on the season and is getting hit HARD. Sign me up here.
  2. Colorado Rockies – Alex Wood has a 375 Woba allowed versus RHB. Love Coors tonight.
  3. New York Yankees – Not thrilled with the park but Bradish is allowing the highest EV on the slate.
  4. Toronto Blue Jays – This team is built to smash right-handed pitchers and Flexen is reverse splits. He is giving up 1.9 hr/9 versus right-handed batters this season.
  5. Seattle Mariners –  Kikuchi is allowing the 2nd highest exit velo and has the highest barrell % allowed on the slate at 14%.
