    Five Pitchers to Consider

  1. Clayton Kershaw, $10,400 (DK) @ Milwaukee Brewers – Kershaw is coming off a rare bad outing when he gave up 8 hits and 4 runs in a loss on the road in San Diego. He bounces back today against a Milwaukee team that really struggles against left-handed pitching.
  2. Luis Castillo, $10,100 (DK) vs Texas Rangers – After starting the season on fire, Castillo is coming off 3 straight no-decisions in his last 3 starts. He has given up 9 earned runs in his last 17 innings. The Texas bats have gone cold the last two games in Seattle striking out 24 times against Logan Gilbert & George Kirby. Love Castillo here today!
  3. Eduardo Rodriguez, $9,100 (DK) @ Cleveland Guardians – E-Rod is coming off a monster game in New York where he shutout the Mets over 8 innings with 9 strikeouts. The veteran lefty is off to a blazing start to 2023 and will see Cleveland for the 2nd time this year. Back on April 18th in Detroit, he put a season-high 39.6 fantasy points against the Guardians. Going to ride the hot pitcher here.
  4. Merrill Kelly, $8,300 (DK) vs Miami Marlins – Kelly looked very impressive in his last start against Washington last week. He struck out a season-high 10 in a 3-1 win. I expect a similar performance today at home against Miami.
  5. Sean Manaea, $5,900 (DK) vs Washington Nationals – Manaea has struggled for most of the start of the season but is coming off his first win of the year last week against Milwaukee. The value range is tough today but if you need salary savings with your SP2 he is worth a shot here at $5,900 against Washington.

    Five Stacks to Consider

  1. New York Yankees vs Kyle Muller (L) – Aaron Judge was 0-3 in his return from the IL last night but the Yankees offense exploded for 10 hits and 10 runs. They should be a popular stack today against Kyle Muller who might be the worst pitcher on the slate.
  2. Houston Astros vs Griffin Canning (R) – The Astros may come in a little lower owned than they should today against Griffin Canning. I like the top half of the lineup especially the lefties YorDONG Alvarez and Kyle Tucker.
  3. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Wade Miley (L) – I always like playing the Dodgers when they are on the road against an average pitcher. I like the to part of this lineup but you can filter the value guys in at the bottom. Don’t forget the lefties in Freeman/Muncy/Outman who all hit lefties well.
  4. Arizona Diamondbacks vs Edward Cabrera (R) – Cabrera is a solid pitcher but has struggled at times this year with his control and giving up home runs. The Diamondbacks should have at least 7 left-handed bats in their lineup. Top part of lineup is expensive but plenty of value at the bottom.
  5. Pittsburgh Pirates vs Antonio Senzatela (R) – My off-the-radar stack today is Pittsburgh vs Antonio Senzatela. The Pirates offense has really been bad so far in May and should come in with very little ownership. Will use more for secondary stack today with top part of the order.
