Padres @ Yankees

The pitchers’ duel of the day is going down in the Bronx as Gerrit Cole faces off against Yu Darvish and the Padres.

Gerrit Cole enters play as a favorite to win the AL Cy Young (+450) — only Shane McClanahan has better odds. Cole is 5-0, and the Yankees are 9-2 in games he starts. His work from the mound is going a long way to help this club climb back up the standings.

Yu Darvish has been doing tremendous work this season, and though his team is not where they would like to be, a win today would give them their fourth series win of the season. Given the capabilities of this team, there is no need to worry just yet.

Yu Darvish Over 5.5 Ks (-120)
Gerrit Cole Over 4.5 Hits Allowed (+115)
Under 7.5 (-110)

Spencer Strider has been waiting for this day Since October. One of the best young pitchers in the game was embarrassed by Philly in the postseason, and now he has a chance to show them what he’s really made of.

Strider has been nothing short of dominate this season, and he has edged out Zac Gallen as the favorite to win the NL Cy Young (+230). I have been blindly betting Stider’s K prop all year long, and today there is no reason to make an exception today.

Spencer Strider Over 8.5 Ks (-136)
First Five Innings: Atlanta -1.5 (-110)
