Dodgers @ Braves

The Los Angeles Dodgers took game one in Atlanta last night, and they will try to capture the series tonight. However, their work is cut out for them, taking on Spencer Strider.

After an incredible rookie year, Strider has been even better this season. They have been no sophomore slump for the mustache man.

Strider hit a season-low in his last outing; he only had 7 Ks against the Rangers. While sitting down seven batters is nothing to scoff at, it’s certainly low for Strider, who took down 12 in his start before against the Blue Jays. Bettors an expect a strong bounceback here.

Parlay: Strider Over 8.5 Strikeouts & Atlanta Moneyline (+145)

A’s @ Mariners

I’ve recently taken on the betting strategy of blindly betting against Oakland every game, and if their opponent is a heavy favorite, I’ll parlay it with my favorite pick(s) on the night. What we saw from the Pirates last season is what the A’s are exhibiting this year.

However, bettors have even more reason to bet the Sea Boys tonight. Seattle has owned the A’s, taking seven of the last eight games against. Marco Gonzales has been shaky this season, but he should have no problem heating up tonight.

Gonzales looked horrid his last time out; he gave up eight runs and failed to make it out of the second inning. However, a start against Oakland is easier than a Triple-A start, so bettors can expect Gonzales to regain his mojo here.

Gonzales Under 5.5 Hits Allowed (-125)
Oakland -1.5 (+100)
