Syracuse comes into this game 1-7. Syracuse lone win comes to Georgia Tech 37-20. Louisville on the other hand comes into this game 2-6. Louisville two wins comes from Western Kentucky and Florida State. Louisville SOS (Strength of Schedule) is tanked 54th in the nation. Syracuse SOS (Strength of Schedule) is ranked 61st in the nation. Syracuse just gives up a ton of points and Louisville can put up points. Syracuse averages 18.25 points per game but their defense gives up 31.13 points per game. Louisville averages 27.88 points per game and gives up 29.75 points per game. Louisville averages 6.8 yards per play and 440.6 yards per game. Syracuse averages 4.4 yards per play and averages 263.8 per game. Louisville defense gives up 5.8 yards per play and gives up 392.1 yards per game, while Syracuse gives up 5.6 yards per play and gives up 464.3 yards per game. Louisville averages 29:51 for time of possession. Syracuse averages 24:36 for time of possession.

Syracuse is led by quarterback JaCobian Morgan. Morgan has only played in 3 games. He has completed 26 of his 37 passes for 245 yards. Morgan has 2 TDs and 1 pick in his 3 games. Morgan also averages 81.67 yards per game. Rex Culpepper is currently questionable for tonight. Culpepper is started 7 games; He has 52 completion on 112 attempts for 584 yards. He also has 6 TDs and 7 picks. He averages 83.43 yards per game. Syracuse has three main WRs. Taj Harris, Anthony Queeley, and Nykeim Johnson. Harris has 36 receptions for 507 yards and 4 TDs. Harris averages 14.08 yards per reception and 72.43 yards per game. Anthony Queeley has 27 receptions for 282 yards and a TD. Queeley averages 10.44 yards per receptions and 35.25yards per game. Lutz averages 3.7 yards per carry and 16.86 yards per game.

Louisville is led by Quarterback Malik Cunningham. Cunningham has 141 completion on 223 attempts for 1907 yards and 15 TDs and 9 Interceptions. Cunningham averages 238.38 yards per game. Unlike Syracuse Louisville has more weapons on the Wide receiving core. Louisville has 4 WR that loves to get targets. Tutu Atwell, Dez Fitzpatrick, Marshon Ford, Braden Smith, and Javian Hawkins. Tutu Atwell is currently questionable for this game. Atwell has 40 receptions for 528 yards and 5 TDs. Atwell averages 13.20 yards per game and 75.43 yards per game. Dez Fitzpatrick has 514 yards on 27 receptions and 2 TDS. Dez averages 19.04 yards per receptions and 64.25 yards per game. Marshon Ford has 272 on 21 receptions and 5 TDs. Ford averages 12.95 yards per reception and 34 yards per game. Braden Smith has 250 yards on 15 receptions and 0 TDs. Smith averages 16.67 yards per receptions and 31.25 yards per game. With Javian Hawkins out for the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL Draft, Louisville will have to look to Hassan Hall. Hassan Hall has 144 yards on the ground on 26 attempts and 0 TDs. Hall averages 5.5 yards per carry and 28.80 yards per game. Maurice Burkley has 124 yards on the ground on 23 attempts with 1 TD. Burkley averages 5.4 yards per carry and 15.50 per game. With Hawkins being out for the year I would expect Malik Cunningham to run the ball more in this game. Cunningham has 417 yards on the ground on 92 rushing attempts with 5 TDs. Cunningham averages 4.5 yards per carry and 52.13 yards per game.

For betting this game I will be taking the over 55.5 in this game. Both defenses give up points and a ton of yards per game. I think that Louisville should be able to score with ease
against a very bad Syracuse defense. We have seen it game after game Syracuse giving up a ton of points. Malik Cunningham reminds me of Malik Willis of Liberty. He can do it all. I also believe that Syracuse will be able to put up points as well. Just be on the lookout for who will be starting for Syracuse at Quarterback.

Zach’s Best Bet: Over 55.5
