 MATCHUP SUMMARY
The 0-4 Lions have been competitive but not able to come away with the win yet. The offense hasn’t been good while they have somehow managed to be a pesky team keeping it close. Defense continues to be an issue, especially on the ground. If this were at home I may have some interest but being on the road I will stay away. Jared Goff isn’t a good road QB traditionally which is concerning against a defense that’s better than the results.
I look foresee the Vikings to bounce back in a big way after a tough home loss. This is a great rebound situation for Dalvin Cook who should be back close to 100%. I expect the Vikings to control the ball and we should see a steady portion of attempts for Cook. With the Lions most likely not able to stay close I will be off the wideouts of Jefferson and Thielen.
THE DFS GEMS
Dalvin Cook, Vikings- $8,400. Keep your ears open to make sure Cook will not be splitting with Mattison and is indeed 100%. Other than the injury, the only thing that should stop Cook is a bad game flow of an early large lead and limited playing time.Â
DeAndre Swift, Lions-  $6,100. Swift could see a heavy amount of targets out of the backfield as is the only Lion I like. If he sneaks in a touchdown and breaks a long run on the ground he could amass some nice total yards.Â
