MATCHUP SUMMARY 

Two more teams playing for nothing more than draft position and pride. The Lions arrive off a huge upset win over the Cardinals. They will look to continue their momentum but possibly will be without Jared Goff so pay attention to his news as the week progresses. Meanwhile the Falcons have played the better teams competitively recently and beat the weaker teams. 

Six weeks running that Matt Ryan hasn’t scored 20 fantasy points with 14 being his best. Is he due or is the dust stuck to his old feeble body? One thing is for sure he isn’t working with great talent around him. Cordelle Patterson has been solid but he is touchdown dependent as he lacks yards. Russell Gage has been the man but do you chase him at what will be so.I’d ownership and a high price for him. 

The good news for the Lions is D’Andre Swift is expected to return this week. He will be an added boost especially if he isn’t on any type of count or limit. Personally I can see him splitting time with Jamaal Williams who has been somewhat effective recently. If Goff does play then Amon-Ra St. Brown is a solid play, especially in cash. He has been a target monster over the last three games seeing 11-12. The question is can the efficiency stay high as he is catching at a high rate.

THE DFS GEMS  

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions- $5,600.  With Goff playing he is a lock in cash. He has caught 26 of his last 35 with 2 touchdowns. All he is missing has been the 100 yard game. 

Josh Reynolds, Lions- $4,600. Is a nice pivot off the above at a cheaper price. He isn’t seeing as many targets but he has deep threat ability. The latter can be beneficial points wise if a touchdown is connected to those yards even with limited targets.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons- $5,800. Many have potentially given up on him but he has a great matchup. Pitts also has the highest ceiling for the Falcons due to his yardage ability along with potential multiple touchdowns. His ownership should be on the lower side.
