MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Raiders got a big win over Dallas on Thanksgiving but have now lost 4 of their last 5 games after dropping a home game to Washington last week. In those 4 losses, they failed to top 17 points. Josh Jacobs has now scored in back-to-back games on the ground but hasn’t sniffed 100 yards rushing in a game on the season. The pass game usage has carried Jacobs fantasy points as he caught all 9 targets last week. Jacobs remains a thin GPP option at best this week. Derek Carr has flashed some upside at times this year hitting the 300-yard bonus 6 times this year. Hunter Renfrow continues to be a very consistent player and has hit 20+ DK points in back-to-back games. 8+ targets for Renfrow in 5 of the last 6 games. Foster Moreau received a big price hike this week up to 4K and busted last week as chalk. We need to continue to monitor the Waller news as the week progresses.
We continue waiting for this Chiefs offense to erupt as they have for the past few seasons, but the big plays just have not been there for them this season. Patrick Mahomes has failed to reach 15+ points now in 5 of his last 6 games. He only completed 15 passes last week for 184 yards. Mahomes’ best game of the season came against this Raiders team as he totaled 406 yards. This should once again be a great spot for this KC offense to pop. I look for Tyreek Hill to see double-digit targets again like he has most of the year. Travis Kelce looks to be a great spot as well catching 8 passes for 119 yards in the first meeting with the Raiders. Byron Pringle at 3.2K is a solid option to put in Mahomes doubles. Pringle caught 4 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown vs the Raiders last game.
I think this is another great spot for this Chiefs team to get right vs this attackable Las Vegas secondary. I will be looking at Mahomes doubles here with a combination of Hill – Kelce – Pringle, and Renfrow is the easy bring back option. Kansas City has a slate high 29-point team implied total and I think people are starting to give up on this offense and we could get them lower owned in this spot.
THE DFS GEMS
Tyreek Hill, KC – $8,500 on DraftKings. Hill has been a target monster for KC this season and I love the bounce-back spot for him here off a season-low 2 catches.
Travis Kelce, KC – $7,400 on DraftKings. Kelce is averaging 8.8 targets on the season and is due for some positive touchdown regression. He has only scored once in the last 7 games and that was vs LV in their last matchup.
Hunter Renfrow, LV – $6,100 on DraftKings. The price continues to rise here but he is Carr’s main option in the passing game going over 100+ yards the last 2 games. Has scored 20+ DK points the last 2 games without even scoring a touchdown.
