MATCHUP SUMMARYÂ
Not nearly as excited about this game as the Jaguars and Falcons. Neither of these teams have players who provide upside like the other game. In addition the Texans have showed glimpses of playing solid defense. The Jets are full of injuries but have showed the ability to make games somewhat competitive at times.
Tyrod Taylor showed back up last week and will get plenty of attention this week after a solid performance last week. My worries with Taylor is he is touchdown dependent in order to hit value. He scored twice last week and a follow up performance will be tough. David Johnson doesn’t intrigue me and Brandin Cooks is dependent on Taylor having an accurate passing day down the field.Â
Zach Wilson will be making his return after several weeks off. He wasn’t impressive prior and I am not expecting his return to be anything stellar. Wilson will have Ty Johnson as his lead back which doesn’t bode well establishing the run. Johnson is more of a threat out of the backfield as a receiver. He has had a few solid games fantasy wise due to catching the ball. Many will chase Elijah Moore who is coming on strong but keep in mind he hasn’t had these big games with Wilson at the helm.

THE DFS GEMS Â
Texans Defense- $2,300. Should be somewhat popular but at the savings you get upside against a porous Jets offense. You also have opportunities for touchdowns with the turnover plagued Jets.
Tyrod Taylor, Texans- $5,300. I could see some using him in cash for the savings but if the touchdowns on the run don’t happen he will likely struggle to hit 15 points.
